x10 user, 22 Jan 2011Wow, my phone has really gotten faster with the minor updat... moreIf you installed a task manager (Advanced Task Manager) like what I've done, you'll be surprised how much faster your X10 will be, if properly set up, ATM kills all non-active apps running in the background that were not included in the Excluded list from time to time thus freeing precious RAM. My free RAM is around 120mb-180mb during normal operation, before it was a measly 30-40mb.

edmund, 22 Jan 2011we cant set out own song as ringtone??Off course we can, just open/play your selected music file in mediascape, press menu key (left key of the 3 bottom keys) then select Set as ringtone.

Andrew, 22 Jan 2011I am about to swtich from Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic to Sony X... moreDo not even think of buying Nokia 5800. That phone has the worst camera i've ever seen. Nokia cant even be side by side with Sony Ericsson.

just got update from xda developer for dual touch function...my country not yet receive the update....the pinch zoom look awesome...only when play games...the accuracy problem for dual touch

disney gurl, 22 Jan 2011Hye....i want to know, did this phone have 3g video call or... moreIts a 3G enabled phone alright but it doesn't have a front facing cam which enables 3G video calling but using 3rd party apps like fringe you can make a video call but the other person also needs to be on fringe. and camera used here will be the main camera.
3G doesn't mean just video calling. 3G is a broad term and video calling is just one of the features which can be used over a 3G network coz of its higher bandwidth.

The Rom is still on beta-2 stage and video recording is still not working ..and there are ofcourse many minor bugs which doesnt make it ready for daily use as of now. But hoping it happens soon :) But i prefer 2.1 which is customized by SE.

browse the track you wish to set as ringtone
press the left most hardware button. which will pop-up options menu
select set as ringtone.
tadaaa :)

sachit, 22 Jan 2011i just got a new update last night, i still Dont know what ... moreThat update has been available since 12/21/2010. Its a minor update that fixed some bugs & improved overall performance of your phone. The default keyboard color changes from the previous dark to light in this update. No multi-touch yet in this one. Next update will have multi-touch.
