Sony Ericsson growth in Euro smartphone markets
A new focus on smartphones by
Sony Ericsson saw it ship 2 million handsets in the quarter –
enough to move it into fourth
spot moving from a paltry 0.6
per cent market share in 2009 to
a 10.6 per cent share this year.
HTC's impressive portfolio of phones puts it in fifth but it has
seen its market share drop by
more than two per cent.
Other manufacturers had been responsible for only half a million handsets sales in the region in 2009, but that increased to 1.9 million as the market for smartphones swelled.

Have you bought the X10 ? If you didn't I think you should wait for its successor because it would have all the X10 qualities with a better hardware.

Dear All... Could u plz rate the audio quality of this phone? is it exceptional?? like the IPhone?? I listened to several tracks on GalaxyS and they are pretty good! Plz rate on a scale of 10..
Does it have MEGABASS Equalizer??

65K colors aren't that bad, it can be clearly seen, watch some videos, and test it with a demo, you don't need to buy and own phone to test it
like Roars says, do not get advice on 65K from people who do not own a phone, what simple thing is, just take a phone from a store
and check it!!!
What honest Roars is .. anyway 65K is not 16M, I do admit that
But it is not a serious issue, Lot of people bought X10 because it simply stunning. but i did not have it (i'm a poor guy), but now SE marketing people come here and says that it is not an issue (that simply stunning thing),
Do not deleted my fair advice!!! I have seen anyone talks about 65K issue, you can clearly see Elle, there are miserable moto employees coming around, they are SE haters trying to mislead people.

about Samsung Galaxy S and Wave, I have own samsung Jet and the 8910 both phones was junk, no support from samsung and there resale value is nill. i have used the X10 for a few weeks now and it not great but its a lot better then samsung. i change my phones every month, yes I have the money to do that and i used a lot of phone over the years. SE and nokia are still the best.

az, 17 Dec 2010does anyone knows why this phone turns on and off itself? s... moreI suggest you take it back to your retailer/carrier and have it exchanged. You might be suffering from what seems to be an overheating issue. I personally haven't experienced that on my X10 but you are not alone.

Elle, 16 Dec 2010Hi my friends,I like xpera x10 and I wanna buy it,but Im co... moreI think the best & quickest way is to go to a cellshop & compare the X10's 65k color screen with your vivaz's 16M color screen as they both have an LCD screen. Take into consideration their resolution (16M,360x640 vs 65k, 480x854). The youtube video simply shows a comparison between 3 different types of screens (LCD, AMOLED & SUPER AMOLED). I have the FIFA video in my X10 but it's not that dark on my X10 with maximum brightness compared to the video, the SUPER AMOLED though is much brighter & crisper but that does not mean its also better. A lot of people will find watching a movie impractical on a 4" screen & with the SUPER AMOLED being much brighter, A SUPER eye strain wont be uncommon afterwards.:-) It's better to check it out yourself to know which screen suits you best.

[deleted post]Please note that the X10 displayed a more natural skin tone at 1:57 of the soccer video. Also note that the Amoled and Super Amoled screens of the Desire and Galaxy S have wider viewing angles and the POV of the videos is not directly on top of the X10.
I recommend you guys check it out in person in a shop then make the judgment.

love my X10 more after the upgarde. Im just hate the battery life but over all i love it.
