[deleted post]If you prefer WinMo then go for HD2, if you like android better, then choose X10, for me, android is the future, hence I chose X10.:-)

Just upgraded my X10 to 2.1 AnOS, not difficult if you know how or use SE update service or using firmware flash tool with the latest ROM.

After one week's heavy use, can see the following obvious improvements:

1.Faster response on OS and features
2.Better functionality inherited from 2.1 AnOS
    3.Better battery performance
    4.Improved sound quality

    Still haven't got multi-touch and 2.2 ROM.

As I am not SE fanboy, using X10 just because its best camera effect, good battery performance (very important to me), large touch screen and stable OS.

I don't really concern about if SE will provide MT on X10 but I hope they can enhance camera LED flash feature so it makes frequent camera user can deal with picture snapping with weak light.

If X10 can run on 2.2 ROM or latest AnOS version, that is a good news and get me stay on X10 next year.

X10 runs a deeply-customized AnOS ROM so it provides SE style mobile technology, like Timescape and Mediascape. whereas it makes 3rd developers hardly turn it to a different handset for different user. X10 has some potential on it hardware and design, it has better future if SE can open their arm to hug AnOS market.

Mobilemaster, 17 Nov 2010Finally they changed their mind. :DYes man finally, this is indeed great news for x10 owners :)

although it may not be a deal breaker, but it's still nice to have. And you know what's funny is that you had a feeling all along that the X10 will get MT, and they finally did.

          I guess your a true mobilemaster ;)

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2010the nexus one multitouch is no difference than this
Actually you may be surprised to know that the X10's mt will even be better than the nexus one!

Also with 2.1 android the X10 scored higher in benchmarking than the nexus s with froyo. It seems x10 is a real winner with very strong potentials.

Yes I understand dude, but I'm sure you agree that this will make a lot of x10 users happy, specially the ones that need it :)

So overall, great news. What matters for me is that SE is listening to their customers and this is indeed a good thing. Because it rises the chance that the X10 will also be upgraded to Froyo next year.

                      Cheers!
