Kevin, 17 Nov 2010So I got my Xperia x10 yesterday and updated to 2.1 and the... moremine had some kind of problems after update as well but after hard reset disappeared and battery is simple u do nothing special just let battery die then fully charge again let it die and again fully charge.this process repeat for at least 10 times,dont overcharge your battery for hours it is the worst what u can do

Kevin, 17 Nov 2010So I got my Xperia x10 yesterday and updated to 2.1 and the... morewhy?dont do that just turn on your pc software updater sony ericsson,no pc companion!remove battery put it back then hold hardware button ''back'' and connect usb cable to pc.do again update and after do hard reset then should work ok

[deleted post]well you are welcome.... after all this are just phones, plastic technology that we discuss, material, globality involution etc... but our days are very few so lets enjoy our life in our own ways... i recoment you to use just one day the x10, visit market and see what the x10 is capable of.... I only miss xenon flash, multitoch its not usable for me, 16m colors same for me.... i never think that xperi would be this good for me ...

[deleted post]well maybe im a xperiablind fan cause im in love with the x10, a more after the 2.1 update... i dont know if moto droids x etc are good maybe they are but after buying that razr and v3 series etc i was very dissapointed with moto.... being honest I have not tested the droid x etc but I dont know why im not interested, maybe they are good, but x10 really kick a/&& ss, even with 1.6

X man, 16 Nov 2010Still cannot update 2.1 version From Malaysia.....i was success to update my x10 yesterday ..its working properly..but the problem is..the battery weak so fast..so charge it 2-3 times daily.. it disappointed me much.. why?

I will just upgrade my pc os as it seems to be corrupted, pc companion cant detect my x10 on my laptop, on my desktop, it hangs when i got to the point where you reconnect x10 to pc while holding the back key. Well tnx, i hope we can finally update this week. Sending this post via x10. :-)

Might just a bug in the update process that it did not completely flashed EEPROM during the update. Did you see the camera image when you do the update and rebooted itself after that? It mine about 10 minutes when it does that....

Yes I did charged the battery for 9 hr and 13 mins before the first use. Idk whats the problem with the phone but i updated my phone through sonyericson.com/support and follow step through step and now I ended up with this issue. I'm sending it back to hong kong tomorrow.

It needs to be charge at least eight hours the first time before using it. The calibration of the battery has not kicked in yet, so you might see it full, but actually it is not...
