hello guys,
i just updated my x10i to 2.1 eclair, and i would like to ask how to change the brightness of my x10 into automatic brightness?
thanks in advance.

Can anyone give me any good comment bout this xperia10, im a new user fr this model, fr info, im not heavy usage fr hp, wat i concern the most is the stability, function, email, sms n call.. :)..

Another point is every one is in different needs for fones,,the most expensive gadget laiden ones are always the bad ones usually..People should make a list of WHAT they use fone for then get a device to suit..I am more multimedia with pim functions/buisness stuff second so thats that.
Until the touchscreen era ends and button top end fones start emerging i am just stuck with old nokia n-series.I could not care less about any arguing about any silly fones that goes on its only a fone and only important to the person using it.

[deleted post]What???? Compare the specs!!!!n95 was the best phone in the world at it's time.....Ok maibe you want a fashion phone(check me on Sirocco page) Maybe i will tell you some of my secrets....i searched hard on the net to came up with alternative ways....

I was waiting for this update but knew that people would be disappointed.2 things could have happened,
1)the update would ruin the speed of xperia x10
2)the update would speed things up but people would be disappointed.
I am sticking with nokia/symbian button fones for now.Ive had 5 Android devices desire/pulse/san fransisco/desire hd and another one i cant remember had so many this fones this year.Most are rubbish altho nexus one seems to be best of the lot but not paying 599GBP for it..

The more I read about the update the more i think that i bought a big crap! No 16 M colors update, no multitouch, wont get the 2.2 update later,still cant figure out ,how timescape is good ( because i have to scroll a lot to find a contact or a SMS, when i can go directly through the contact list or sms list )But if someone could explain to me , how to make Timescape more effective I would appreciate! Since I know that its a inovation but i still cant find it usefull.

Well i thought that it would be on top of smartphone food chain...bad luck for me!!!

Ok i received some informations about the new update (android 2.1) so i updated the review:
--The first thing that catches our eyes and makes everyone jealous is the nice and sleek design :P
--And the huge shiny scratch resistant screen! TFT capacitive touch screen at 4 inches - 854×480 pixels. Shows 65k color, there is no word about getting an update to 16m color yet. the screen looks great even with 65k color, but 16m color is something else in my opinoin.
--Then the unique and beautiful UI! The Mediascape and Timescape, they've got even better after the update, fast, smooth and lovely with better transition. and also auto scrolling for timescape that lets you read messages without opening them and more capacity for tiles. and mediascape manager has improved.
--And the excellent 8MP camera that is fool featured: autofocus, LED flash (but it's still a photo light) touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection (it can recognize up to 5 face to save their picture between previous taken pictures from those people or under their contacts), among HD video recording with continuously auto focus! isn't it GREAT?! but HD playing remains good because of the limited amount of colors that screen is capable of showing.
--3.5mm audio jack & micro USB port and 8GB memory card included, officially supports 16GB but 32GB memory has been successfully tested on it!
--the whole 384mb of RAM is available now with android 2.1 and the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor is still kicking.
--Android 2.1 so you can use lots of applications and games from android market.
--And the build quality is excellent and it really feels awesome and absolutly comfortable in hand.
Other improvements due to android 2.1:
--Live wallpaper
--Social phonebook
--New web browser UI
--Thumbnail view for bookmarks
--New call UI
--New keyboard with default android skin
--New widgets
--New 3D gallery
--New facebook client UI
--overal better performance
and i guess everyone knows about the lacks and there is no need to repeat the bridge story :P

i read somewhere that sony ericsson will skip froyo they are currently working on gingerbread.
and x10 will surely be getting it.
