I was excited by this... but in the seven months I've had one now I am no longer impressed. Two months into having it and I had to faulty exchange as it kept switching off intermittently, freezing during anything (charging,receiving calls, playing games, u name it, it froze) and no longer liking my memory card. I was lucky to get an exchange. I have just updated to 2.1 and can no longer answer calls or make calls without the phone 'blue screening,' pretending to not be in signal and going to the blue-themed background. It thinks there's no sim in the phone when it has signal. Regretted purchasing this contract and regretted updating to 2.1, am now with a half-useful phone. Shame really, cos I used to like Sony Ericsson

SE have to get there heads together soon! if i don't get this ancient 2.1 update within this week my phone will be thrown back into the box and sold asap! End of Oct 2010 we were told then kits came out first for the 10%+ of gsm owners and the rest 90% of network owners have to wait. Its not really the networks fault this is an issue that SE should of dealt with. the SE blog is a pain they disabled the comment post system due to the majority of X10 owners not happy with the pathetic roll out. i am a SE fan but this takes more than the piss! Multi million dollar company and they mess up real bad!
3 days and counting if no update to 2.1 i will be selling this ancient X10 asap!

you caused this buddy by not listening to my suggestion, i wont reply him anymore, because i know that all these are his fault in the first place, i didnt like the way you were talking and you know it, it's not right to insult anyone like that at any situation imo, you always do as you wish, do what ever you want, i'm really tire of reasoning with you guys about this simple thing...i didnt write this bcoz of his request, dont get me wrong...you're still my friend but i cant take this anynmore...

SE has not kept up to their quality or promise. I & a few of my friends who got this feel cheated. They promised 16 million color but now they changed the specs to 65K color. This is false advertising. Folks can sue SE for this false advertising. Bluetooth profiles are incomplete. They promise X10 to work 100% with MW600 but even after the 2.1 Android update it does not. No track information or caller information in displayed on MW600.
I have been a SE customer for the past 7 years but this is very deceiving and X10 will be the last SE product I will ever buy.

Sony Ericsson has just announced that all X10 phones have been recalled. This is due to several exploding batteries. The risk increases after the 2.1 update.
A SE spokesperson has said that it may take some time to repair the problems and apologies to all customers

Btw I just checked SE-NSE forums and found about the latest firmwares for xperia android family as the following
2.0.B.0.109 (Xperia X10)
2.0.B.0.127 (Xperia X10)
2.0.A.0.497 (Xperia X10, X10 mini E10, X10 mini pro U20, Xperia X8 E15)
X8 hasn't got android upgrade yet, but why it also get new firmware with number 2.0...
