why cant i forward sms, photos or group sms messages dont like how when i recieve a message the time and date is so small its impossible to see what time it was sent

Phoenix, 08 Nov 2010hi mate, no i dont have it yet, coz i still have the job pr... morehw r u mate. my phone get updated. i love it man! awesome and faster than i expected. the live wallpapers are great i love the phonebook and messaging.. X10 still rocks

Phoenix, 08 Nov 2010hi mate, no i dont have it yet, coz i still have the job pr... more@phoenix,,yes true about jobs i got no overtime then reduced hours on top and pay freeze for 2 years and still uncertainty... i buy second then sell so lose absolute minimum and after my fave n86 it seems the last of the big exciting times..I see some have this in white,have not seen that one yet in fact not seen a second hand x10..So does that mean its good and people are keeping them or not many sold? I think x10 has sold lots and people are haniging on for update cause x10 can handle it..Some 1.6 to 2.1 updates on some devices has crippled them cause only 600Mhz not the 1gig of x10.
Oh well have tried nokia n8 and its being sent back ,i got that out on contract then going to cancel contract.I really think todays smartfone needs more grunt "obviously" but manufacturers are trying to keep devices slim so they cannot put in bigger battery so they reduce grunt to save battery and its all going wrong..Often these 1GHz proccessors are underclocked as much as possible and altho they want to put in more RAM to speed things up RAM takes up an extra circuit using more batterry..
To sum up ,,,at some point they are going to have to put in investment to put in more expensive electronics that are less power hungry(even tho todays chips are really efficient)or fones will have to be thicker..
I see this AMOLED TECH IS poor at saving battery when showing anything but black and sometimes tft works out to be more efficiant using lovely coloured wallpapaers and themes which cheer up our personnel devices.I dont know ii used to get a big buzz getting a new mobile,now its a chore or a compromise..

What can i do to upgrade my phone? I did every step on the website but i get stuck on the step where it says to disconnect then connect my phone to the pc, at the same time pressing the back button. Everytime i do this, nothing would come out to update. What am i doing wrong? Please help!

guys and the processor wat xperia x10 uses is a QSD8250 Snapdragon processor which is originally patented from intel inc although the brand is qualcomm but the original designer and patentor is intel,and from the name intel u can definitely verify the quality and speed of the processor & it has a seperate dedicated co- processor for graphics acceleration which accounts to the ultimate multimedia & gaming xperience which no other smartphone can yet provide.

The person below screaming no tv out ,,well x10 has dnla,now i know its not important cause dnla tv seem rare but folk are speculating it could be commonplace in 3 years..Why talk about dnla well it can stream content on your device to a tv or mp3 to audio system.I n other words its even easier to play stuff on your tele because no wires :-)) .I am going to fiind out if their is etc...
i say this... the x10 is cool , amazing, powerful, and now with 2.1 even more nice, but in two years we dont wanna have the x10, its going to be discontinued, so dlna or tv out for now is almost useless cause my tv is not that modern, x12 maybe x bla bla bla its gonna be here, i dont use more than half year a phone, buy the x10 is amazing

[deleted post]i strongly suggest not to go for nokia N8 as it not even worth 15000 bugs as the only good feature in it is its 12mp camera,my neighbour has got a n8 recently and he is extremely unsatisfied by its performance and its low level apps compared to ultimate apps from android,1 more thing to note is even though the camera in n8 is 12mp it doesn't have an sensitive autofocus feature and when complained to nokia regarding this feature nokia ppl said they would improve it in der next firmware update which is going to be released in april 2011,buying n8 for upto 24000 bugs and waiting so many months for a minor regular feature update is seriously unsatisfactory,nokia except advertising the n8 almost everywer wherever they find a gap:-) haven't done anything useful towards n8 as i've personally examined the set for almost 4 hours and i say u ppl not to believe my words jus blindly...hav a look first i.e inside look not external look and then decide & then u'll be enlightened regarding the disadvantages of n8.

[deleted post]it depends.n8 has weak low resolution screen which is noticeable against wvga screen of x10.the other thing is os.symbian even after modification is outdated.future belongs to android.and no worries all x10 will be shortly with hd video.the only thing on nokia is 12mp camera but in my opinion u cannot expect too much because nokia never been top camera phone.their colors are usually over saturated with large amount of noise.i owned couple nokias such n95 and so on but i never been satisfied with image quality

and folks xperia x10 also supports HD without the v2.1 eclair update,the camcorder built into it can generate a neat & nice HD video @720 pixels,30 fps as i've tested the video recorded from my xperia x10 by transferring it to samsung 21" LED tv,1 more advantage is almost 95% of the smartphones play video in only standard formats such as mp4,3gp etc but only x10 is the phone which plays almost all the video formats such as .mp4 .avi .flv & many more widout the need to convert any of the videos for viewing on the phone.

[deleted post]if you're confused between these two, you should know that N8 has much more features than X10, they are not even comparable imo, on the other hand X10 is an Android device with much more capabilities and softwares. beside, imo X10 has much better design and a unique UI.
so if you care about those features that are missed in X10 you better go for N8, no doubt.

i owe an xperia x10i(white) purchased recently and i can bet you its the best phone ever made,i've tried almost every company smartphone but none has given me the xperience even near to xperia,frankly speakin its even more awesome compared to iphone 4 too,this xperia x10 can be compared to a mini laptop frankly saying better than any standard configuration laptop,the touch sensitivity is a feather touch and the only smartphone which can compete it is the samsung galaxy S rest all smartphones are dust to ground.

i owe an xperia x10i(white) purchased recently and i can bet you its the best phone ever made,i've tried almost every company smartphone but none has given me the xperience even near to xperia,frankly speakin its even more awesome compared to iphone 4 too,this xperia x10 can be compared to a mini laptop frankly saying better than any standard configuration laptop,the touch sensitivity is a feather touch and the only smartphone which can compete it is the samsung galaxy S rest all smartphones are dust to ground.
