folks in india android v2.1 (eclair) is not yet available for xperia x10 update although its been released in many of the countries.

I have upgraded by X10 to 2.1. However, would it be possible to RE-UPGRADE as I suspect that something wrong when I updated to 2.1 because I cannot set up my Google account with Gmail, Google Talk. Anybody knows how to do the RE-UPGRADE? I would appreciate very much for any help. Thank you.

nick, 08 Nov 2010why would anyone buy the x10? it has less features than ... morebecause it's a sony ericsson. would not happened with other brands :p

The person below screaming no tv out ,,well x10 has dnla,now i know its not important cause dnla tv seem rare but folk are speculating it could be commonplace in 3 years..Why talk about dnla well it can stream content on your device to a tv or mp3 to audio system.I n other words its even easier to play stuff on your tele because no wires :-)) .I am going to fiind out if their is a n adapter you push in your hdmi socket or scart socket to allow dnla support..I might not find one ,maybe they dont make them but they should do..Imagine coming in from air show,pop on your tv and just stream video and pics to tv as easy as bluetooth,COOL.

hello everyone out there
i have a little query about this handset
i've heard from a friend that the phone display heats up after continuous usage and eventually leads to short circuiting and secondly the mini usb charging port of the phone goes out of order very quickly and cannot be fixed..
the users out there please share your experience if anyone has ever faced any of the two problems i've mentioned... waiting for your feedback

it is clear x10 remain outdated even by receiving 2.1 because nexus 1 will get 2.3 gingerbread this week. not to mention 3.0 honeycomb is just around the corner followed ice cream all already announced.
