who ever is bashing this phone obviously has never used one or never actually owned one I bet half the people that bash it have never even owned a Sony ericsson once u go SE u never go back ok there was a gap between x1 and x10 where there phones weren't the best.
who ever says SE's support is bad is an idiot there are always updates available to improve the phone
if you gona bash this phone u should state what phone you currently using so we can see where or what u coming from u cant be using a eg. nokia n900 and then tell me this sucks or what ever outdated tech.
as for the people that talk about android versions it's not the android versions that make a difference it's the apps that taylor any android phone to each persons needs not the os in the passed I chose SE cause they had the best phones and there os was suited to me now a days with android u can change every thing to suit your needs no matter if it's htc samsung or motorolla.
the reason i chose this phone is because it's the best looking android phone and it has a 8 mp camera it has android and it has a huge screen for watching media and a fast processor for internet browsing.
I thought of htc cause they been making good phones as of late but guess what they all ugly
I thought of Samsung but they all ugly and have bad support as well as in my home country to many people have it and they all look the same no one can even tell that u using android.
Nokia is just making shit have been for years always software issues battery life and still refuse to do android or windows mobile 7.
LG just plain old unreliable seen tomany LG chocolates die or "melt lol"
blackberry's are from the stone age no features shit camera shit look not good for media at all.
I've seen people take out there nexus ones blackberry's nokia's iphones and samsungs and no one even looks
and in my line of work every person has 2 or even 3 phones people are constantly changing phones in my company but
When I whip my SE X10i in luster white out every one ask's what is it what can it do is that that new android phone how much is it where can i buy one do you think they have stock.
even girls who dont know shit about mobiles think it's hott.
If you dont like it after using it or if u cant use a touch screen or not familiar with android then u are welcome to bash it.
But it's still the BEST LOOKING ANDROID PHONE!!!

fatos, 31 Aug 2010can anyone tell me which is the diference of operating syst... more1.6 is cupcake codenamed android OS. its an old OS with limitations in screen colors and RAM(if im right) and other. and 2.1 is also some sort of upgraded 1.6 it gives flash and live wallpapers and much more functions. SE has given out some new apps for x10 with update which is in Q3 end lineup

how muc... moreNot sure about it being useful to Doc's, Docs require a phone which is easier to slide out n call..not sure touch phone is a way to go..
but yes you can upload books but it depends upon the format..pdf file format works...
in India its about 30k...so it depends on the country u live :)

People bash this phone bcuz they love it.....it's fast,Timescape nd Mediascape ROCKS nd 8mp is the best in the android market....EVEN with android 1.6 SE have tried their best to customize it...only one more month nd 2.1 will officially available

The phone is absolutely awesome!! Apps open and close quickly, the beauty is the amount of free apps available for it. The camera of course takes beautiful pictures. I recommend buying the MW600 blutooth device wich also controls the phone as well. Calls sound so much better ib it then the phone alone.
Forget all the complaints of late android os updates the phone runs excellent, update will be nice the phone is fast and very nice looking too. Video quality is exclellent .. Get it you won't be disapoointed
