Is there another Activesynch out there I should be looking for? I have downloaded Android-Synch but it keeps insisting I need to download a later version and will not run. It is the latest version that I have downloaded. So a bit stymied there too.

Save all ur contact frm previous phn to ur PC. Go to gmail. There's a field called "My contacts". Import the saved contact on ur PC. Then confgure ur gmail account in x10. Just wait for 5-10mins. All ur contacts would be appeared without any hiccups.

Greetings all, I have just received my Xperia X10. I am unable to link to my PC through Sony Ericsson PC Suite. The cable is connected, SE PC Companion sees the phone, but PC Suite will not connect. What I want to do is update the phone contact list from Outlook. I have been through the schlep of updating the firmware. How do I get my detailed contact info from Outlook loaded onto the Xperia? I have transferred the SIM card from the previous phone - Samsung 8510 - but the contact info is truncated and the SIM has run out of space. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

ind, 30 Aug 2010Hi after i install "handcent sms", i get 2 pop up... moreOnce u close the Message it should ask u which one u want to use as default, then go into your normal messages and deactivate the message notification so the handcent one displays only ( that is done by going into your message, then pressing menu, settings and untick the notifications block )
I am also using handcent, it is pretty awesome :)

Hi after i install "handcent sms", i get 2 pop up windows for a sms. 1 for Handcent & 1 for default messaging app. But i need only 1 pop up. Pls assist.

The phone is awesome, very user friendly,looks good and preforms even better, with the new build update it doubles your battery life if not more.
I have dropped my phone a few times and nothing has happened, even if it is plastic im sure u wont break it by just dropping it, good design, awesome software and with the upcoming OS update it will blow ur minds :D without a doubt!!!
1. no it has no flash atm, only a photo light, even if gsm arena says so.Only after the OS update will it have a flash.
2. The phone hasnt even been out 1 year, so i duno how ppl can ask "has it lasted u a year"..Ive had mine since may and had NO problems what so ever!
