benefits of rooting your phone??? this is dangerous? if it come the new software and doesnt accept it cause I delete thngs=? any advises?

guys i have used this phone since the day it launched in canada. im not gonna ly, this is the craziest phone ive ever used. coming from an iphone on the other hand means that because of apple, i have never had to perform my own updates. how the crap do i get the update that everyone is talking about. i have seen the new version out of a box with the flipped home screen. wtf. how do ii get that. place excuse my lack of knowledge but direct the show if you can.

If you want Arabic have a look to any of the more modern Android devices out there. Samsung's Galaxy S comes to mind. Is one of the best devices out there.

X10 is Definitely Going to AT&T

We waited to report this story until
we could muster up more
confirmation, but that countdown
(that – as of the time of this posting
– has not finished counting down)
on the Sony Style site will indeed be
for the AT&T-bound Sony Ericsson
Xperia X10. Proof? A nice product
page should be enough, no?
The device will be $129.99 “with
AT&T plan” which we assume comes
with some sort of data requirement
and a two-year contract. We ’re
awaiting official press details, but
this is as close to a confirmation as
we ’ll get, for now. The X10 was
launched in November 2009 as the
first device that many of us
considered to be “high-end” at that
time.
A 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
processor, a 4-inch screen with
854×480 resolution, an 8-megapixel
camera, and more made up the
gears that powered this phone. It
launched with Android 1.6 and
Sony’s custom TimeScape interface
on top of it, but anything can change
for this AT&T re-release (we know
Sony ’s hard at work on getting the
device to Android 2.1, at the least).
More details as they come to light
(hopefully very soon).
[Update]: Seems I didn’t refresh the
page that I had the countdown
going on (who would think Sony
Ericsson would skip two full hours?).
They ’ve now made it official with a
press release to accompany it. The
device will find its way onto AT&T
this Sunday for $149.99 (the Sony
Style site still says $129.99, but it
could just be a special pre-order
bonus through them).
Per the press release, there is no
confirmation on which version of
Android this will ship with. Other
notable changes from the
international versions of the Xperia
X10 includes 8GB of internal storage
and this will still ship with a 2GB
microSD card. Press details ahead.

C... morefew month from now it'll get the update to Android 2.1 and then it'll support Arabic
and yes it can view office documents and PDFs, but you need to download some apps for it.

My Friend do you know my secret? I'm in love with x10 design and respect the x10 UI as the second best after the Sense HTC UI which for me is the best. Truely x10 is nice but they miss the big dial for late released and much more released with android 1.6 but if this phone can update to Froyo, at this time it will change many things even if it won't become the best android phone. So I'm in love with the Droid familly fully, accept that Galaxy series is a success but this people love x10 and we should respect it. Some people was rude to me and bash Moto so badly thanx God Q2 shows Moto in good health.Take it easy and please ask forgiveness to Amanda that you hurt deeply and show that you are having a heart and you are civili..... as you said.

Andone more, xperia x10 is getting uniQue app manager in the os update.
_ google news.
Its gonna add more uniqueness in x10.
And also slap on bashers who say “x10 is copy“

Well, that's you. Why must I wait for SE to do this and that? As is the Galaxy S has better video recording. That's it. Even you must admit to that. The photo is better in the X10 and the video is (much) better in the Galaxy. That's all I am trying to say.

Video recording comparison will be fair once X10 receives the HD recording, Coz one cannot compare 720p with QVGA video recording.
Poor rating? well it happens when basher's vote it 0 just coz they envy it, trust me emit the votes that contains 0 rating and you will get the actual rating of the phone.
I would still rate it 9+ along with Galaxy S,Droid X and few more. Samsung Wave for me is still not upto the mark.

The x10 photos are better but the video recording is better in the Galaxy S. Fair is fair. And you don't even have to discard your warranty by rooting the Galaxy. It works as advertised from the word go. Look at the poor ratings the x10 did receive. No wonder . . .
