you will find android market in main menu itself with icon of android, if its not there then it means you don't have android market for your region.
there are work around's for the same like debranding your phone with a generic uk version and stuff...but lemme know if you can find android market in your main menu or not :)

Symbian ^3 is going down a slightly different route by giving the option if you want to connect not just when ever it wants to.

[deleted post]I agree with you but you have to keep in mind that Froyo was not available when the Galaxy was released. Anyway I am sorry to tell all SE fans that after my experience with the top 3 Android phones I concluded that the X10 was clearly inferior to the other two.
After my two-week experience with Android phones, and despite the fact that I admired many of the Android features, I hated its Google-centric orientation, its thirst for an internet connection at all times, and its eagerness to spread my personal info at servers worldwide, so I gave them all up and bought something less "smart", with a metal construction and a screen to die for, with video-calling capabilities and a more compact size...the Wave of course!

x10 has tons of works on it. it was made in progress for years. it's uniQue UI is something the BEST!
question to you:
can u mention a total customized UI?
and about TFT screen, i posted 7 links from official sites have tests of:
HTC DESIRE vs SAMSUNG GALAXY S vs SE XPERIA X10
the tests were:
1) extreme sunlight
2) extreme low light
3) rough lights test
4) daily light
5) screen scratch protection test
about 1.6,
just try the benchmark pi in three of phones.
ANALYSED RESULT IS WIN OF X10
users say that x10, even on 1.6 os, works as proper as 2.1, and users dont find any problems here
NOW ABOUT THE HARDWARE:
xperia x10 has a super browser, more faster than galaxy or desire. use urself. and the laggy system is in desire, not in x10
ABOUT BUILD:
x10 has a strong built-up, x10 is made of strong plastic, doesnt break easily.
the camera quality is the best awesome in this android section, till any new phone comes. 8mp is dashing, QVGA and WVGA. other types of capture modes and smile, face detection, with led flash for taking close-ups, image stabilizer (the best) and others.
THE MOST INTRESETING THING:
TEH TIMESCAPE UI AND MEDIASCAPE MULTIMEDIA UI
now the lacks of x10:
bitter chance of 2.2
no multi-touch
small led flash (saves close-ups)
no flashplayer (used mostly for ad-s)
65k colors (updated in Q3-Q4)to 16m colors
ANY MORE LACKS PLEASE MENTION.
now to mention about galaxy s:
VPN problem persists in galaxy s
its thincover plastic which becomes dirty as fast and is quick breakable.
no scratch protector.
no flash light
the cheap camera
sensitiveness as same as x10
now to mention of desire
desire is still having the 3.7 touch screen
no scratch protector
the back button problem is still in desire
its amoled screen is nearly useless in extreme light.
I CANT POST MUCH, BUT TO SPECIFY, 65% X10 IS MORE POWERFUL THAN THESE.
i also own a DESIRE, three times for customer dervice

falcon, 09 Aug 2010Jack, have you had the opportunity to compare extensively t... moreextensively nop, but overal features are better on xperia cause its friendly user, not as boring as iphone, but you know that galaxy will be just another phone from samsung in 6 months, they release 50 different every 15 days, galaxy i9000 gallaxy x galaxy light i 900i i910 a i dont think the become legends that its not serious to me, but I think galaxy is very good too, and powerfull even if its like a samsung star or omnia in design, I dont care about froyo baggin(thats the name of the master of rings actors role?)when i hear gingerbread I think about eat something, multitouch is st&/&%$pid to me, like 16m colors, ever phone sout different needs as i said before, we are diferent thats the best part from being here in life.. discusing about plastic technology

[deleted post]when they click report they delete your post after a few reports or how does it works.????... hey new nk tell falcon all the great things you can do with the x10, we all know it is the best creen, the best browser, the best camera in an smartphone the worst flash too, the most accurate gps, faster than no one, never hangs , mine comes stock with 16 gb card MICRO, even with 1.6 if better than 2.1 being honest its not the looks that matter to me, its the performance and x10 is amazing
