Sooo, can ANYONE point out the advantages of this TFT-screen, Android-1.6, maybe 2.1 in a few months, SE X10 over the similarly-priced, Super-AMOLED, Android-2.1, soon 2.2, Samsung Galaxy S or over the cheaper, AMOLED screen, already Froyo 2.2, HTC Desire??????

The ear speaker of the x10 isn't exactly good either :-) I remember I had to visit the toilet everytime I wanted to make a call with my x10. Yeah, it was really that bad. I have the Galaxy S and things are better now. My old Nokia was the best though. No wonder nokia rules the cell market by far while SE has lost almost all the market share it had. SE lives on past glory and empty promisses. How sad . . .

and want to share this with everybody....
i recommended my friend x1o, but instead, he bought GOOGLE NEXUS ONE.(from international)
after three months, he came to me to give his opinion.
It's a beautiful device with an outstanding screen. But, it is troubling at times as well. The screen is best at 100% brightness but your battery life is gone. Speaking of battery life, it is really uhhhh. Likely, it is due to a widget from the market, I turned it on at 7 in the morning and by 4 it was down to 35%. I didnt use the phone much though it is a clear caller but I generally dont use the apps and internet.
The worst thing about the phone is the speaker. Why Google allowed such a small button piece of rubbish be put in their flagship phone is MAD. IDONT LIKE to let the phone ring and never use the music from speaker, its bad than gALAXY S.
I have become MAD to having to tap things two or three times and hitting the "back" button.
but the phone is super built, rigid!!!

We are today happy to confirm that all of these phones will now get the update to Android 2.1 from the latter part of Q3 and onwards (timing will vary from market to market, some will be in Q4. Please follow this blog for further information with regards to exact timing of the upgrades).We are of course very glad to offer this upgrade earlier than originally planned. Xperia™ X10’s position will also be further strengthened through the addition of HD video recording as part of the same Q3 upgrade.
