I love this phone, but if i were to criticize it, i would say that the screen really let me down, it kicks the HTC Desires specs except for two :
1) RAM is too low
2) Damn Screen!!!
The screen really shouldve been better, 64k???? HTC Desire got 16M AMOLED!!! AAAAH!!!

It's an OS update and will be available by the end of Q3...the latest firmware R2BA023 is already available on OTA update. Android market is only available in select countries, so kindly check from Google's page if ur country supports android market or not... :)

it will be updated to 2.1 during the end of Q3 and 2.2 maybe by Jan next year if things go by SE's word.

In Canada I got Google Maps, Google Navigator and WisePiolet for free on my phone. No it has no second video camera but there are apps to let you use the main camera for video calling and it does wifi very well.

Bradley, 25 Jul 2010okay thanks mate! :) I'm gonna buy this phone soon Good call and best of luck, also make sure that if your country has 3G bands, that you buy the right phone for the right UMTS bands, or else it will not use 3G and only use 2G

If it is not fully unlocked, you will get the updates that the original carrier releases from the original place. But there are several guides on how to de-brand your X10, even on the Xperia X10 official blog, so you should have no problems with updating.
