Anonymous, 11 Jul 2010stop talking about all these non sense about X10. when I bu... moretruth is difficult to digest n i just stated the facts n oh Gosh that Samsung Galaxy that came with a trojan virus? n samsung phones r build with cheap quality n they dont come near Sony ericsson or htc and dont talk about Samsung phones as they r really ugly.....n u know when i saw the Samsung Galaxy interface i said wtf arent they trying to copy iphone menu icons n even htc desire is much much better than Samsung Galaxy phone but desire sunlight visibility is terrible n i as far as the in call volume is concerned.....i have never had a problem with it n the latest softare R2BA023 has improved it alot n i keep on asking the other person on the call can u hear me clearly they always say clearly
i think u should not talk nonsense about samsung Galaxy n the video i am going to show u right now will prove that n remember this is a xperia x10 with 65 k colour screen n with a screen cover n even with that it beats the Samsung Galaxy S n htc desire
take a look n dont speak nonsense again try to swallow the bitter truth

Xperia X10 earphone does not even work so what would of cared about Camera. I do have the best Cybershot and I am looking for phone. Go shopping and look at Samsung Galaxy S before looking at the X10 screen and see which one have better visibility??????

Xperia x10 is worth a buy n specially the latest firmware R2BA023 has really made me feel my decision was great in sticking with xperia x10 rather than buying htc desire n the speed the keyboard the performance of XPeria x10 is amazing now with the latest firmware.
i was very confused between the htc desire and xperia x10 n at one point thought of buying the htc desire but the reason y i choose the xperia x10 was
better 8.1 mp camera
better video recording
better music player,mediascape
timescape is just a unique experience n i think that sets xperia x10 apart from any other handset in the market
4 inch screen of xperia x10 n very good visibilty in direct sunlight n on desire visibility is very poor.
Xperia x10 screen is so awesome for watching videos n photos whereas watching videos n photos on desire is not good n thats one big disadvantage of amoled screen ,watching videos n photos with unnatural colours.
i think i made the right decision of buying the xperia x10 as it gives me the best combinition of smartphone + multimedia device n
what i wanted was a smartphone with great multimedia features n i think xperia x10 is the best android handset with smartphone n multimedia features.
its a very powerful handset now n with hd video recording n 2.1 just around the corner it will rock big time

Ravz, 10 Jul 2010I have used Nexus one and u will see the same number of bug... moreI do not like Nexus but do like Desire. Like I said after big lost money returning my X10 to shop then bought and replace it with another HTC Desire. So, I use my HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy S and very happy.
Why would of want to buy a phone to look for firmware out there to fix Sony Problem with Old Android OS 1.6. I am the customer and Sony should sell me phone that works and not me looking for solution to fix their problem.

Looky, 10 Jul 2010Yeah, I too had problems with mine. I could barely hear any... moreYes the Ear Phone is so low to listen specially if you are in noisy street, shopping mall or Bar. It is not possible to hear anything. Plus it seems like it has no noise cancelation to filter the noise around you. The caller hear more sound what is happening around you than my voice.
No idea about Sony if they actually use their phone to see the problem or company has any QA or QC.

Yeah, I too had problems with mine. I could barely hear anything when using it as a phone and the battery never lasted a full day. I returned mine and lost about 120 Euro. Sorryericsson - never again. Now I am a happy owner (2weeks now) of a Galaxy S from Samsung. What a nice device, especially the screen :-)

Ravz, 10 Jul 2010If you find your sony keyboard small and not happy with it.... moreHad this phone for less than 48 hours return to shop losing $200. Everything name it wrong with this phone except it's look. Had Samsung Glaxy S and Desire but change my Dersire to X10 but big mistake.
Keyboard number one problem and then screen look, sync. My tweeter & Facebook, fonts and photos on contact so small, the featue of showing last phone call or SMS on front page big problem. Looking at photo so done until next call or SMS . Old Android OS 1.6 make it limited in some applications or Widgets. Can list many more.
Please try look at other Android phone options out there than this SE Experia X10. HTC Nexus and Desire, Samsung Galaxy S, Moto, other new Samsung, Acer, Dell, HTC phones but not Sony.

If you find your sony keyboard small and not happy with it...even after updating it R2BA023, although that has made it a perfect keyboard...
but u can go for an alternate keyboard from HTC

1st X10 is on 1.6 at the moment..and if u put all the phones on 1.6 ..you might see even nexus gets beaten by x10...well talking about froyo yes its faster but then again, im happy with the speed even on 1.6...i see no lag at all..and even if my device gets quicker n quicker...but my internet speed is gonna still be the same coz i have the same connection...right?
so for me getting 5 times faster response is good but not something i would say primarily essential...i would rather love to have ground breaking apps which is gonna blow ur mind off...u know something out of the blue that one hasn't seen...which is gonna keep u hooked to ur phone...
well with 2.2 on x10 whenever it comes...im sure x10 is gonna be in top 3 considering the current phones...but x10 has customized UXP...which is a standout thingy...and one needs to appreciate the work done by sony in that department...and also the looks of the phone...which is really appealing to the eyes...

but then people need to stop cribbing about the phone's OS...coz if Google release OS's that quick...one or the other company will lag behind for sure..and I love 1.6 on my X10 even though its an obsolete version for Android lovers...but it doesn't make u look like ur on 1.6 even performance wise...and i believe sooner or later ,maybe in a years time they gonna come out with a Quadcore with 4GB 3D accelerator card :P ...i mean the way they are pacing this stuff...u never know lol... :)
well im sure every phone gets obsolete the days its released and thats the hard truth one needs to face it...one needs to stop seeing phones like their brides...its just a phone for pete's sake :) and in a year's time one will change it for sure... :)
