Most of the things you're talking about can be done on X10, its android so there is a diff way of doing it.
1) copy paste is possible:
goto the sms in which u have the number. hold and press ur finger over the phone number till u get an option to copy , cut ..etc..
similarly wherever u want to paste it...just press your finger the same way and u will get an option to paste.
2)Yes,you can use it as modem:
download easytether app from android market but i hope u do have a data plan with your phone.
3)Creating play list.
here is a trick on how to create one..just follow this tutorial..

4) for the screening of phone calls ...you have plenty of apps available on android market...i dont remember the apps but u can always go in the tools section and find it there.
5) what issue u having with syncing your phone? can u elaborate...
well the sound quality is better than walkman phone.. i did have my old walkman series along with my x10...and i liked the quality of the music on x10.
maybe you're talking about the bass effect... well if u use you're old walkman heaphones it sounds cool :)
and if ur missing equalizers on the media player...download them from android market...
this is android you can get whatever u want...it goes with all the android phones..not just x10...

P2KDroid, 10 Jul 2010but I don't think that froyo is bad, will you deny an froy... moreThats what I said im not denying froyo is a bad update ..its good and i do agree its 5 times faster than 2.1, but its limited to the hardware capability of the phone as well...X10 is great when it comes to hardware specs , similarly u cannot expect a year old phone from now to perform 5 times faster even if it makes the cut for min requirements...these benchmarks are set on the phone which is the latest in hardware config. ...but Google is releasing updates way too son..i...so in between Phone manufactures who custom the OS according to their needs are in a soup...instead they could released patches which can be installed on all phones irrespective if its on stock android or UXP so that every phone is on same version...

Ravz, 10 Jul 2010Good for u... :) btw its not that you got 3.0 on milestone.... morebut I don't think that froyo is bad, will you deny an froyo upgrade to X10? No,in case of windows, Xp vista and had a big gap in time, but between vista and Windows 7, very close, but 7 is lot great!!
The time gap between android 1.5 and 1.6 is around same ,then Do you mean 1.5 is stable than 1.6
Froyo is 5 times faster in applets. how does that make you no sense?

[deleted post]Good for u... :) btw its not that you got 3.0 on milestone..its just one version ahead that's it. Honestly don't know why there is a mad race which phone has the latest version of OS...makes no sense..if u look at windows they launched vista after xp...was it a success?? hell no...not saying froyo is not good, but it still has bugs which needs to be sorted out..1.6 is a stable OS..check out the complain box for froyo..so being on an older version is not end of the world. there are more aspects to the phone ...

The X10 removed so much stuff from phone functionality. I am a die hard fan of SE, I have been having the W960 for 3 years and all the P series before that. First the calendar is online, if you do not log in for a while it disappears, second there is no call screening, call log is not grouped into missed, received, dialled and it is not compressed, no copy and paste, someone sent me a number in a text message I could not save it, I had to write it down before storing, no sending of contacts by sms, I can't use it as a modem on my computer, I cannot edit or create playlists in music, and the sound quality is not as good as the W960i, I cannot synchronise using SE as they instruct; it only gives the google option. SE, these are really simple but important things to us, I could not believe I missed my W960i, after all the anticipation I had with the X10. Simple things that really mattered! I hope we get them in the upgrades! otherwise its a beautiful phone, great graphics, great camera, but that's where it stops!

helper, 09 Jul 2010Has anybody who uses "battery indicator" or any o... moreTry using some task cleaner to auto kill when u start your phone/screen goes off.. some of the tasks which u dont need anymore. this will help u a lot in the sharp dip in ur battery loss after charging that u might be facing.

X10 updates have really helped the phone now...no more issues with battery for regular use and in call volume also has been taken care of to some extent.

Nevertheless I wanted to "play stupid" and see whether anybody else has the same "problem".
Actually the problem seems quite strange, at least for me. Why does the phone say that the battery is full, when it is not. :P
Also it is quite annoying to look after the phone when it is charging...namely, if one leaves it to charge more than needed (i.e until the "overvoltage" has disappeared), then the battery starts to drain somehow :S
But, yet. Thanks again for your reply.
