The comparsion between SE X0 and Samsung Wave, clearly shows the Wave is faster and with a superior screen.
As for the HTC Desire, well its just butt ugly.
The Galaxy has the 4 inch screen, so for users who want
a big screen, this is the CHAMPION.

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2010Indeed, some things can be updated with a OS update but mos... moreif ur checking the Wifi card on the phone...X10 has HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps for wifi...let me know if u have this kinda dedicated internet speed at home ...to fully harness its potential....ur home internet speed only gives u on avg 1-2 Mbps even if it says its giving u more..check the facts ... btw for bluetooth transfer to be on max a similar card needs to be on ur computer and compatible with v3.0....do u have that? :) i guess not ...so even if ur phone has bluetooth 3.0 ...it wont make a difference...now do u get it...

There is a ton of difference between the SE X10 and Samsung Wave or Galaxy...Can’t you read properly or are you just another blind, biased SE fan ??
Samsung Wave/Galaxy has Super amoled screen, full camera flash, 16 m screen resolution, Multi Touch, bluetooth 3.0, full flash support, full Java support, 720p video and playing, LED video lighting, WiFi BGN, built in radio and equalizer, secondary camera, pinch and double tap zooming, etc etc etc etc etc.
Again too many advantages over the X10 to list here.
Don’t you get it ?? Again, the SE X10 does NOT have the above features and NEVER will !! Its that simple. If you think SE can change a camera light into a camera flash, you are really dumb. Battery life is the BEST on the Samsung Wave.

phones fan, 11 Jun 2010this link will show u the battery performance of samsung ga... moreThat test was in offline mode...use X10 under same condition with all background apps off...it will give u better results....doing just standalone video playback test is not sufficient...u need to see its affect when it comes down to real scenario ...when u use it for phone,music,video playback,wifi,bluetooth etc...

Like i said it comes down to your choice. If u like Samsung Wave or Galaxy. You are definitely in the wrong forum. the only advantage with Amoled is under sunlight which in reality if u take lcd and amoled i see better on lcd ...
Btw seriously apart from games n famous zoom in functionality from iphone where does multitouch helps u in day 2 day life ...

Indeed, some things can be updated with a OS update but most things can not. How will a firmware update shave off 30% of the X10 thickness? And the old/slow bluetooth and wifi interfaces can not be updated either :'-( The Galaxy is the cell to have if you want a top Android device. If you have never used wifi 'n' please don't say you don't need it. You never know what you miss. The transfer speed is huge. SE should really update their Android device, otherwise their market share will drop even more. My 2 cents.

How sensible the Sony fans are.... If someone comes here and states FACTS when they compare the xperia with other handsets it's bashing. It's obvious that wave not to mention galaxyS and htc desire, incredible and evo and motorola have in their spec sheet thanks in part to the up to date android version so many things that xperia lacks. Even with the upgrade to 2.1 xperia will be behind because the other phones will receive advanced android versions. In america where the competition is fierce this phone had no chance agains the other android. The only thing that helped xperia sell well in some countries was the fact that on the android segment it had only the desire as a real competitor because only desire was a high end android that was released worldwide, other handsets were(are) solded in us or limited number of countries. The desire clearly outsold the xperia in many countries. The newly released phones are going to make xperia selles to go down drasticly. I think it's clear that xperia will not stand a chance against the other android handsets.

Anyway like you said....faster wifi,bluetooth...there is actually no difference between these two phones ...the main difference u will feel is when u try using the phone, the first major difference is the looks of the phone, secondly UXP is so much cooler than samsung's stock android OS...thirdly..with 2.1 update X10 will have HD video recording...n battery life is better than samsung's new galaxy...u should check it again....i have checked all that before buying X10....and X10 can also be upgraded to OS 3.0...who said it can't be ...People choose X10 coz the touch itself will make the whole difference...it's amazingly smooth compared to samung galaxy or anyphone ..

The SE X10 is the best looking chinese made phone on the market today. It appears everybody agrees with that. Unfortunately, thats all that is special.
If you want a screen so big, why not buy a 7 inch netbook for under US$200. Plus all the current X10 bugs and faults which are too many to list here...e.g. terrible battery life, terrible sound/volume, lacking good support and updates etc etc. Not to mention all the constant SE lies !!!
The X10 sells for between US$600 and $800. Extremely overpriced for a Chinese made & designed mobile phone. Tosihba had 4 inch screens over a year ago !!
SE X10 has NO camera flash, just a small useless light !!
The Samsung Wave S8500 is available now and TOTALLY KILLS the X10.
Samsung Wave HAS Super amoled screen, full camera flasg, 16 m screen resolution, Multi Touch, bluetooth 3.0, full flash support, full Java support, 720p video and playing, LED video lighting, 89 million triangles per second graphics chip, Samsung hummingbird processor which is faster than the snapdragon, WiFi BGN, reasonable price, Bada open source OS, built in radio and equalizer, secondary camera, pinch and double tap zooming, full web support for web browsing, 1.5 gig internal memory, up to 32GB microSDHC card, etc etc etc etc etc. Again too many advantages over the X10 to list here.
Only blind/biased SE fans would buy this overpriced chinese made X10, lacking all the above features. Smarter/sensible people who aren’t blind or biased, definately go for the better, faster, high end SAMSUNG WAVE............... And you will have money left over to buy a 7inch netbook...LOL
You won’t regret buying the Samsung Wave and all the X10 owners will be envious of your Monster phone. Samsung is the KING of mobile phones !!
BTW, Samsung make all of their own parts and are made/assembled in S.Korea. Hence, Samsung can sell phones at a honest price. Samsung also sells many parts to SE.
