So a consumer should buy xperia and ignore the outdated donut& wait paciently for the update and brush aside the fact that the main rival until now outside us htc desire has eclair and is about to receive froyo not to mention the amoled screen and galaxy s is even better with superamoled and and awesome power ?

bored of my iphone 3gs..........i love this beauty cuz its features r amazing....nd its looks...i think it has got the most unique looks in the smartphone world...i want it sooo badly...

Screen is pretty bright n u keep a phone with 16M color next to it and u wont even feel the difference...probably x10 will be adjudged the winner
About buttons getting clicked, this is where i believe ur not owning this phone ...correct coz seriously anyone using this phone knows it has auto lock feature and proximity sensor ..so no way ur phone's button being clicked would do anything to ur phone whilst its inside ur pocket.
I guess u should do a little research on Android OS..its with any android OS..its to make ur system runner faster...and u install apps advanced task cleaner to kill them even after restarting the phone...
so in the end im sure u dont have the phone...and there are phones like iphone/nexus one which dont have video call facility

Not so worth mobile for that high cost , first disadvantage no video call facility and the screen is not so bright. Major problem is when you put the mobile in cover and keep in pocket , the buttons will get pressed and you loose battery life. Major problem is that even when you switch on your mobile, at starting if you see the advance task killer it shows more than 10 applications running. So i feel this is not worth for what its been offered.

[deleted post]it depends on ur choice...u will like Apple if u have liked their other product, they give u multitouch experience and thats where it ends rest is all history...on the other hand, Xperia is better looking,good camera,Android OS,better hardware...so it comes down to ur choice, what u want to use the phone for...or ur just buying it coz of the looks...
my choice is X10.

If more people buy phone A compared to phone B, it does not mean that phone A is the better of the two. What it simply means is that phone A has more sales than phone B, Period!!! Popularuty is not synonymous with quality and performance. Here in Zimbabwe, cheap chinese merchandise (imitations) is popular, but qualitywise.....???? It is not necessarily correct that if something is not white then it's black.
Various factors come into play when it comes to phone sales my man. On this forum, our personal preference is X10 and here we do share X10 tips and experiences. We do not bash other phones nor do we disrupt other forums.

but i don... morePleasure Zac :) Adding to what Hardy has said,
1) Google Gesture - gives u the freedom of searching phone contents using handwriting gestures..these things are not available out of box
2) Handcent SMS - gives u freedom of iphone,htc and many other sms layout along with pop-up of new messages on ur home screen,providing a way to use customized ringtone for sms using ur music library and many more.
3) - Advanced task cleaner - the most important one ..since android OS keeps the process of every application running on background of ur phone, it drains ur battery a lot even when u wont be using those apps at all....the question will be asked was google a fool? answer to this is since running apps on background makes it faster to open any app u have on ur phone, since its process is already running in the background. making android a very quick OS when it comes down to performance based on speed. so using this app ...u can put these processes on auto kill and in settings change settings to autokill when screen goes blank and phone restarts....Note:
beware of putting process such as alarm..etc on autokill as that will stop ur alarm function....
secondly putting on autokill is coz even if u kill all the process they will resurface after a while :)
other ways of saving battery life is ....
switch of GPS when not in use from settings(seriously this eats majority of the battery life), switch of wifi,bluetooth,reduce timeout to 30 seconds, reduce your screen brightness as well.....

20 android to be released 10 already there. Motorola Goldfinch, The Motorola Bei Hai coming with Droid xtreme and Droid 2. that 14 phones remain 6 to day moto announce 4 android coming with front camera one of them will be a 4g.

zac, 10 Jun 2010special thks to ravz and hardy for your time.. but i don... moreMost of the applications i posted earlier are missing from your phone out-of-the-box e.g stopwatch and dictionary. Others are better than the default functions for instance RealCalc and handcent. Others offers you the ability to manipulate your phone like Xperia Light and Astro.I hope that is sufficient an answer for you. Just remember that it all comes down to your personal taste at the end of the day, but i promise you that with that list i posted earlier you will definitely like most of them.

Its a Chinese clone of x10,
I ordered it today as sample through a whole seller from Alibaba.com.I bought it coz I really like the X10 design, even though its Chinese.I already own a droid and hope to my a Moto Mile XT720, still I was greedy on X10 design I cannot afford all 3 phones, so I bought this Chinese x10 clone phone for 85 US dollars.
If anyone likes X10 and cannot afford to buy the real SE x10 phone here is the choice.
How ever I do not admire the dirty work by the Chinese.ugly they copied it. how ever these are the bas sides of out scouring
