brynn, 22 May 2010Just reading back thru posts and i could get legend or desi... moreWith sonic ericsson worst. they can not spend for the quick release of their devices or make it at time. and for the x10 with android 1.6 you will never enjoy the new os android and that is the most important. with android 1.6 no 16 millions, battery very low and poor. no hd recording for about 5 months and some other things. after 5 months x10 go for android 2.1 while all the htc are getting froyo android 2.2 now in june. and google announce gingerbread android 3.0 in q4 2010 at the time x10 will get 2.1 only. shame on you because ur nice camera 8mp are not so usefull no hd video. but with an 5mp htc legend or moto droid make hd video and with froyo any htc will be 5 times faster than x10 even after your android 1.6 update to 2.1 htc nexus and moto droid get flash 10.1 the way of getting froyo. so once again x10 outdated phone.

Xperia, 22 May 2010Guys I just want to ask if we can compare X10 with the ipho... moreof course Xperia's screen is very responsive as it is capacitive, same as iPhone, but regarding general experience, responsiveness, smoothness etc., no, iPhone is still far ahead.
I have both phones and I can tell you for sure that regarding the touchscreen experience iPhone is far better than Xperia X10, something like 80% (Xperia) and 100% (iPhone).
Hopefully after firmware upgrade for Xperia in a couple of months this will be improved .

Just reading back thru posts and i could get legend or desire for cheaper but thats not the point,,the point of going for x10 is android plus decent cam/video which htc is not going to provide...If htc spent some money on decent optics they could be world leader in tech but they just dont care..Whoops sorry i said i would shut up..

Will carfone be reducing the x10 soon on payg..I bet the answer is a big NO cause its selling well..
Reports on all about symbian and others say the screen is one of the best they have seen,,well i have seen and heard it but speaker does not sound good but chap was playing something i did not know but the screen was pin sharp and alive,,all 4 inches of it...oooohhhh i can get one with credit card today but must hold on for a bit longer cause not keen on android after using t-mobile pulse but then again x10 has ultra better cam/video and lots more extras..I will shut up now but if it hits 350GBP or i can get one second hand (no chance yet)then that might push me to buy ..

had various blackberry handsets, and this is absolutely fantastic, will never touch another handsets, think this even beats the i-phone

SO yeah been chatting with teh sony rep and i was told that the update its due at the end of summer will really help....it will get a flash aswell as its current light......it will also have the sound quality improved....the camera will be given HD tech software so it it will be even better then it it......it wil also be given teh ps3 link up options as well

Guys I just want to ask if we can compare X10 with the iphone? I just want to know if the X10 is as responsive same as the Iphone in terms of touchscreen.

if you're going for HTC.. go for desire or nexus one...
NOT HD2!
X10 is comparable to nexus and desire.. but HD2 is pathetic next to X10... an officemate of mine owns an HD2 in case ur asking how i'm able to say such a thing...
most apps on windows market are not free...
winmo as of now is not thumb friendly...
HD2 is NOT real HD...
camera (as with most HTC phones) is lousy...
