jefh, 22 May 2010i bought x10 one week ago it was nice handy and super ok my... morebut normally ur just reminded that updates are available.. don't know bout you but mine does only that... reminds me that i have some applications that can be updated.. shows the reminder on the notification area... if i touch the notification it opens up the market app and goes automatically to the "downloads" tab and there it shows all the apps that has available updates... and then it's up to me if i wish to update them all...
usually i do.. i've installed data counter.. that app shows how much data i've downloaded/uploaded... i've got 12gb free per month.. and i've just consumed 200mb since i've purchased it...
don't u have bundled data plans there?

i bought x10 one week ago it was nice handy and super ok my only problem is just its my first time to use a android phone then my phone automatically updates the version of my application i think about 30 application in my phone its only 1 week my phone bill gone to thousand peso in philippine money huhuhu too bad for me....

i thank sony ericsson for xperia x10 but such a nice and great phone without radio to listen,secondary camera for special purposes,the phone is incomplete.the next xperia x10 must have radio,secondary camera,and86 to 90cc volume for listening pleasure.cost no problem.thanks whiles await for that phone.

i dont know if it fell face down.. i don't think it did.. only saw it lying down face down...
the chrome has a dent...
battery cover has no damage.. no scratch.. nothing.. although it came off when it fell... -_-'
screen is ok...
unable to detect SDcard but i just took it out.. put it back again and restarted...
now it's ok...
everything is ok. yey! ^________^

A quick look at the xperia X10:
-the first thing that caches our eyes, is the nice and sleek design, it's really great!
-and the huge shiny scratch resistant screen! 4 inches with best resolution so far-854*480-! with 65k color, but it'll show 16m color after update, so there is nothing to be worry about! ( not to mention that even with 65k color the screen looks great )
-then the unique and B E A utiful UI! fast and smooth Media/time scape
-an excellent 8MP camera that is FULL featured-it can recognize up to 5 face to save their picture between previous taken pictures from those people!-, with WVGA at 30fps video recording, and after update it'll be an HD recorder!!
-3.5mm audio jack __ micro usb port __ 8gb memory card included, officially supports 16GB but 32GB memory have tested on it successfully!
-384mb of ram and the 1GHz snapdragon cpu!
-Android 1.6!! but it's still great because of the SE costum UI-for example it can transfer files via bluetooth unlike so many phones with 1.6!- and it'll get android 2.1 or maybe 2.2 plus with UXP upgrade in Q4 2010 ( september ) and then it'll support flash too, so there is nothing wrong with this too!
-and the build quality is excellent!

and of course no phone is perfect:
-no front camera(it seems that it'll be able to make video call with rear camera!)
-no multi touch(SE is working for an alternative)
-no build in radio(on the other hand it has MW600 with radio and brilliant audio quality and you can enjoy listening to music or radio, 10 meters away from your X10!)
-a little battery problem (it'll get better with firmware update)
-average loudness for loudspeaker (but the quality is excellent!)
Well,i love this thing since it announced and i have no doubt about buying it, you?! you buy whatever suits you ;)

pouch opening facing down... chest high...
and...
BANG!!!
boy o boy o boy... did i loose blood on my face or what! specially seeing the phone face down with it's battery cover waaayyy over there!!waaaa
but it's still ok! whew!!!!!
got a small dent on chrome at the back... but other than that.. phone is fine!whew...i mean...
WWHHHEEEEWWW!!!!
i'll never use that pouch again!!! (leather pouch came bundled with X10)

GREAT GREAT X10 owners !! It's very nice to hear owners that admit that this device is smooth and fast!
This way no one will dare to say else wise. I mean I'm sure it's not fast as a rocket lol, but still the speed is very good and the device is smooth and keep in mind my friends, it will get better and better and this is a promise!
My X2 still has problems yes! It's annoying. However, regarding speed and smoothness after the last update its very fast! Just imagine I'm talking about a wm handset. So what will happen with Andriod!!

I mean this is the king and it deserves best material, if it was a samsung who cares if you cover it or not it would be ugly in all cases if you know what I mean hehehe :P
