Before it i had iphone 3gs and it was good too but apple with their stupid restrictions make such a good product irritable. I performed well too but because i wanted some features that steve jobs doesnt want me to have,so i jailbreak it and after some time, its slow and painfully slow. So i sold it and bought the X10 and its just great.
Another i wanted to ask i have a yahoo account, the free one. i know you need a paid yahoo mail account or yahoo mail PLUS to get its mail on your mobile. But it worked with iphone, but in android it isnt. Any way to get it working?

Manu, 25 Apr 2010I bought the phone a day ago. i just wanted to ask should i... moreDude if your phone is working ok and your happy with it no need to update your phone. When ever you feel that it's becoming slow or that your facing some issues with it, it's time to update the firmware.
And any way SE will be cooking some great updates for this phone that will turn it into a monster that will beat all other phones just wait and see. SE promised to take care of X10 users for a life time.
So your safe my friend, and the updates will be running in no time, just keep visiting gsmarena and the sony ericsson product blog to know when will they be released :)

... moreAs far as I know you can watch HD videos and allow divx/xvid support through third party applications either from google's market or through the web and yes it is possible.
Regarding TV out I believe the X10 lacks this feature, however, it has plenty and plenty and plenty of other useful features so no worries ;)

Ok guys just bought X10 and here comes a fair review.
Previous phones used- n95,n96, iphone 3g, iphone 3gs, HTC HD
First of all great phone, great looks. Does make people jealous. :p
Great UI FYI android is way better than iphone UI, windows mobile or symbian.
marketplace is great, good performance very smooth ui.
No probs with 65k, colours are sharp, crisp and clear.
So what i did was that the first time i used timescape it was slow, but after some seconds and update it became smooth. But i NEVER used it again and maybe i wont ever because its not needed at all, but still not useless.
Camera is ok, but if u consider its a 8 megapixel (I know more megapixel doesnt mean clarity) and a sony phone you would expect a lot better.
Screen very responsible at par with iphone or maybe better.Install some 3rd party apps like task managers to better manage apps and your system.
And the speaker volume is a bit on the lower side but its still good enough.
Any questions anyone has, i would be happy to answer.

1. How do I play DivX/XVid/AVI files in this? I know no out of box support for this.
2. Can it play HD movies?
3. Any accessories to support TV/Out or is it totally not supported?
