I am looking fo... moreBro both vivaz and X10 are excellent choices, both have good screens and great cameras. The difference mainly is with the os, the vivaz has symbian which is used in nokia phones, while X10 has andriod which is google's new os.
The X10 also has a wider screen, while the vivaz is the lightest smart phone in the market only 97g and it's very easy to put it in your pocket with out worrying about it.

Stefan Louw, 25 Apr 2010I might sound stupid to you all, I don't blame you, everyon... moreI'll make it as simple as possible. The resistive you need to push a little on the screen in order for the screen to response. It's just a small push.
While in capacitive touch screen you just swipe with your finger very smoothly like the iphone for example.

I am looking for a user-friendly smart phone and I need a decent entertainment phone such as camera, music, videos, hand-writting recognition ect.. Please answser my question thanks.

I might sound stupid to you all, I don't blame you, everyone knows the answer to this question except for me. So can anyone please tell me what the difference is between a resistive and a capacitive touchscreen? usually I know a lot bout technology, but this caught me of guard. haha. so please just answer my question. thanks anyway!!!

i got this phone 3 days ago. my observation is that its a good phone. average because i dont wanna say its that good.
i used to have an iphone and i cant stop comparing the reaction time of the screen. its not multi-touch as well.
i have to agree that the sound quality is poor. but maybe with the headset its different?i havent tried it with the headset.
typing is ok. the word speller is good. it adapts quickly to the word you type and inputs it. and you can also delete it.
battery? its doesnt last long though. a day and a half for me. internet is good too.
the map need to have a net connection. its sad cause i like watchin the screen when im travelling or outside. : ) but its good it has latitude. like the BB. : )
well, that's it for now. maybe i'll post more when i discover some more points.

-Poor Call Quality
-Poor Battery Life
-Poor Loud Speaker
-Bad Camera Shutter time

Over the years I've had many SE phones, always willing to give them another try. Yet they always seem to miss the mark. Years ago Sony was a winner. Sadly they have lost their way. It's a shame that they just don't seem to be able to get it right. This could have been a great phone, but like all companies today, they care more about making a quick profit than they do about providing a good product. Maybe it's because good products last too long and they can't sell more if a product lasts a long time. That seems odd. After all when a customer spends a lot of money to buy a product, shouldn't it last a reasonably long time? And if it's a "throw-away" product then why should it cost so much? Reasonable questions for reasonable people to ask one would think. The consumer always looses in the end. Sad but true with business and governments alike. Oh wait, they are one in the same now!

sachit, 25 Apr 2010guys even me and my brother facing same prob which is of lo... moreyes this phone is very good in respect UI.but it has some very strong draw backs.when ur spending such an amount of money then a little problem can bother u a lot.call quality of x10 is very bad in my experience.i have gone through the review made by GSMARENA.they have told recent firmware update fix audio quality issue.I have X10 and now it is in service center for repairing.I am fan of SE and I am using SE for last 2 yrs.I know their voice quality.from my previous experience i am convinced to purchase this set.But now i am very upset.spending a huge money I am getting this service ????GSMARENA is my listed top site for mobile reviews.they have to think very wisely based on their review people get interest on buying phones.so I think they have to be careful enough during review.All other things of X10 is very good without basic feature like calling.SE is a very experienced company.I cannot understand why they make such mistakes.A faulty set must be sorted at quality assurance process.If u people ask me why I have purchased this set then my answer is it has the best specs in all over for the current mobile phone market.SE make a mistake with satio.now same mistake in X10 marketing.so there will be enough reason for people to go for other manufactures.paying a huge money getting this types of service...Not every time.

guys even me and my brother facing same prob which is of low sound on earpiece, but still we dont want to leave this babe phone, it just drops jaws of people where ever we go.
battery is on lower side, last sone day with fulll charging, but i do listen to music some 2hrs with call of 1 hr. also watch movie approx half hour.
now good things, all apps aref ree atleast 99% and others also let u use thes apps till certain limit and if u want to extend functionality, u can buy these.
game speedforge is very good, but u have to buy it to unlock it.
i must have downloaded some 100 apps all run very smoothly.
music quality and mediascape is awesome so is face recognition, but that wont work with small kids as their facial features are not constant. many people complained about this before that it did not recognise their children pics.
apple ( sorry apple fanboys) never will allow multitasking, i run about 18 apps at same time, no change in speed,
apple does not fre good apps, i got all apps free without registering.
apple do not have mail, twitter, facbook sync at same place, ie in timescape.
app do not have even a good camera despite it being so so expensive..
and many problems solved by itself like keyboard and others which i believe was due to learning abilities of android system..
guys who have experienced xperia, also share their comments so we all can use it more effectively..

I've had the X10 for almost 2 weeks. Its a wonderful phone, the only problem I'm having with it is that the battery life is very poor. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem, and how they went about fixing it. Thank you.

I think the x10 is the only stylish android fone at moment.By the time i get one it will be up to date and cheaper as ive said before..Android is still awkward for me at moment so going to join phandroid but if anyone else has a better noob forum for Android please share,,this is first time i am out of my depth but learning...I thought if i went in other forums i would get help but you have to cut thru the quarreling but more weird is different Android fones acting a bit differently and having differentt versions,,,COME ON GOOGLE get all your fones level and up to 2.1 for crying out loud..
Two warnings the tattoo has qvga screen and lots of apps wont work on it due to devs not wanting to use that resolution so be carefull and secondly if you know android check internal memory cause as we know your apps go on their until apps can be stored on memory in future updates,my pulse has 60MB and going down quick..What does x10 have in internal memory at start up if anyone knows,thanx..
Hope by time i get x10 maybe s/e has brought out extended battery,,because Android is push email,,gps ,,compass,social network,,augmented reality competent we all want to get thru the day at least..I will shut up now just on a high cause into Android at last even if its not x10 YET..cheers
