SE want us to taste 1.6 before 2.1. Then we can compare which OS version is the best in our own tastes. If you don't like 2.1, you can return to 1.6. And if you don't like 1.6, you can switch to 2.1. SE is the best. They give us many choice of OS version. Don't you realise this?

I really love this, I could use it a long with my favorite Droid, still really sad for me, have to wait more months, my mom is not going to give me money now. I already spent nearly US$ 500 on my Droid.

I think I have done near to everything possible to stop my battery from dying and its still depleting. I have just charged it for 13 hours and its 79% now. Any more solutions would be great. Maybe turning the data connections off might stop it?

My battery comes reasonable time. Better than the other phones.
Also check if you have enabled the Sync functionality.

Just got my x10 earlier this week (UK/Voda)... The battery life is a joke. I fully charged it over night when I first got it, but last night, whilst asleep, it managed to get through about half the battery, not quite the 425 hours promised. I've now turned off a lot of the persistent functionality like email/wifi, and it seems moderately better, but still not great. I wouldn't expect it to last a weekend away.
