Now a days we don't have such thing called originals, most of them are called OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacture) most made in china, don't worry they are made to the standards of the relevant company,even in China if it SE its SE.if moto its moto, samsungs...etc
so their wont be problems. whether your X10 is made in china or,,,etc , what ever it is.its same quality but will be cheap,
My Droid is made in china, It is same as others, most of them are made by foxxconn China, even dell computers are made by foxxconn china,
Don't Worry about it!!!
Just enjoy X10!!!!

have test the units compare to Milestone the speed is slow and version is 1.6 no qwerty keypad.

hi no i dont day about x10 os update but gsmarena in larger than life edit last review and say:After we updated our Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 to the latest version of its firmware its audio output improved greatly and the handset achieved excellent results in our test
and in camera Update 08 Apr: We also took a couple of shots with the XPERIA X10 camera to see if the new firmware affects the image quality as well. The results turned out identical to the initial photos and subtle differences can be attributed to the lighting differences, rather than image processing algorithm modifications. Check them out below.
