I've owned one of these for about a month now and although I read of warnings of the battery life, it's not as bad as everyone says. Sure if you were constantly running data from it and had blue tooth on and had the screen brightness at maximum, then yes you won't get a day out of it. But if you are using bluetooh every now and again and turning it off when you aren't using it anymore, minimize screen brightness and close unused apps in the background with a task killer, then you can easily get 1-1.5 days out of the phone between charges.
I found getting apps for a flaslight, notepad, to do list, world clock, task killer and mini Office suite and an internet tethering program to make it a very solid phone for work or play.
I like the compactness of the phone and the keypad makes text or other messages a breeze. The Android 2.1 downloadable upgrade will be great to have in the coming month or so to get a slight increase in apps options.

I just bought this phone!
And I am facing a problem with WLAN: when is the first time connection with a wlan network, everything works fine. but when you disconnect and than trying to re-connect, then the phone cannot re-connect to the same WLAN anymore.
it is strange because, when you try a new WLAN network, it works for the first time connection, but not anymore.
what can be?!

An3's, 11 Oct 2010The battery sucks big big big time! Does not even last a da... moreBat life is poo .. deal with it i use adv task killer on standbye with ebuddy and my gps on constently all day i use 1 bar so unlerss you have tried n tested the life out on your fone properly i wouldnt say its a complete waster for batt life also like to add that onbuisly if ure gonna hammer music and browse the net on it all day expect to charge it up every day .. thats like most mobiles out today.. timescape is easy to use the touch is smooth games run without a glitch the only downside this phone actually has other than people wingin about bat life is the memory this is the main problem no support to put applications on the sd card on the android 1.6 platform which come the end of october will change when thery release android platform 2.1 for the mobile and the applications out there which iv had a look at some support 2.1 to copy applications onto the sd card as the internal memory of the phone is the biggest downfall here when u have some applications games that cover up to 30mb ago could be mroe with some..

i bought x10 mini pro last week and it proves that all the bashing posts here are mostly hoax.. yeah battery life is poor but when setting it to my most convenient use saves a lot of batt life..i love the style, qwerty and the cam...sounds is pretty decent...surfing is too fast..better experience it for yourself than relying in other's post..much better

Yes, battery doesn't last that long.
Try using task killer and switch off the gps.
GPS drains the battery power big time

well i have seen so many comments about how bad the battery life is and all.. but still i thought i wont trust any1 but myself so i bought an Xperia x10 mini pro and i have been using it for a week so far i have found out that after fully charging the battery if i use it non stop it lasts 6-7 hours u can lower the brightness settings even im using it with 0 % yet i dont notice any difficulty with the brightness so even if you put it 50% it wud be ok the only let off was that still a java supporting application hasnt been made for this and the android games arnt yet on the standard the blue tooth problem wud be solved after the 2.1 update overall the phon is extremely fast and the typing with the keyboad is very good i love this phone

the Donut 1.6 was tested by SE before putting it into X10 Mini.
And when I look at my laggy Galaxy S - im not sure if Samsung tested Eclair 2.1 before putting it into Galaxy S.
I've sold my Galaxy S because it was really too big for me and because it was very laggy.
I had 38 Phones in my life (from SE T230i, SE K700, N95 8GB, Omnia i900 to the iPhone 4 and Galaxy S) and the iPhones + SonyEricsson phones were the best of them.
If Eclair 2.1 with all new functions and Hardware Support will work as fast as Donut 1.6 works now - it will be one of the most powerful Android devices. Im not joking.
A small size and a mini display doesn't mean that the phone is slow and primitive.

Beautiful phone, Good Company, Maximun Turtle Developers!!!. this is bad for the owners of a Xperia as we create false expectations and make all feel cheated.
