Otherwise, is there another option to lock the phone so you have to enter a code on the keypad?

hey guyz iam thinking to buy this phone...and my must need is voice chat in phone softwares like fring,skype so i wanted to know skype today announced for androids but minimun req is 2.1OS and xpera has got 1.6 so is there any skype or fring available for this phone or do we have an option to upgrde our OS to 2.1 ??plz replyy soon

Bought SE X10 Mini-Pro to replace HTC Dream / G1... very disappointed! Build quality is cheap plastic; battery life is so poor you cannot use WiFi, Bluetooth or 3G, takes more than 10 hours to fully charge. Apps are great, but that's because Android is awesome. SE-modified apps suck: dialer locks screen during call and no way to end call without unlocking fone first; Camera can't zoom, saves files at less than 5MP (180KB files); Qwerty keyboard not well planned i.t.o. key layout. HTC Dream is a much better Android fone, only problem is it's too big to fit into yr pocket - this is the only good thing I can say about the SE X10 mini pro: it's size is excellent.

I got this phone almost 3 weeks back..
Till then I did not use any Android phone and this one excites me..
Can download applications from the android market..
The camera (5MegaPixel) is awesome.. But not knowing how to set the storage as sdcard instead of internal memory..
The problem is with the battery of the phone.. It gets drained so soon.. It gets fully charged in less than 2 hrs from less than 2% of the battery and gets drained to less than 2% in less than 24hrs of time even after adjusting the display settings to minimum..
And, the gmail application: am not knowing how to change my gmail settings to another id..

Uninstalling apps:
settings-> applications-> manage applications --> (click on the app to uninstall)-> (then click uninstall)

Problem with receiving files via bluetooth:
I had that problem more than a month ago and solved it by updating the software via wifi using the software update option in the settings->about the phone-> software update. (during that time updating the software using the USB cord did not work but maybe its fine now. better use wifi to be sure and its cheaper than using the gprs if you are not hooked up with free internet surfing.)

Loving this phone.Does everything I wanted and much more as well as looking the business!!

its not easy to use the phone

Hello All.. I need some help on these :
1. Does this Mini Pro has a fast track key or button to slient the phone with Vibration on? I pressed the on/off and it leads us to Silent mode but I found the Vibration was also off too.. And I missed many calls !!!!! So sad:(.. Wish I don't have to go to (menu, setting, sound, silent mode) all THESE steps everytime..
2. Can I set fast dialing to certain numbers that I often call to number 1 to 9???
I had Song Ericsson since my 1st phone and therefor I decided to get this one.. but I found is quite difficult to control..
