99 the x8 is newer but not better than pro x10mini have the same characteristics that changes are 2 things x10 5mp,x8 camera is 3MP, x10 qwerty keyboard, x8 no qwerty keyboard.

Root it and upgrade to 2.2

if u face restart problm when u change Sd card then u should buy orignal SD card this phone do not work in any mmry card..i have 4GB card of San Disc..Orignal.

I upgraded the phone with custom rom, damn it restarts a lot when connected to pc. even it restarts automaticaly.
Can anyone tell how did u guys restore contacts and messages...i dont find the option of Back up & Restore like in 2.1.
Will see for a week else revert back to 2.1
