oubsty, 20 May 2010The new software came with three new themes so you can chan... moreI don't see the other 2 'new' panels. The only new one is the update spb mobile shell lifestyle panel.
I'm not after the task manager per se, I wanted the X button to function as before wherein it would totally close out an app and not leave it running at the background.
Volume wise, everything is already set to the highest level. The previous update a little bit (and I mean a little bit) louder than the MR2.
But as I've said, these are minor that can be overlooked compared to the speed and look of the phone.

i really appreciate ur help..... i will surly update my s/w, bt the thing im concerning abt is my sms's, i dont want tht they should delete..... is there any software bt which i can take backup of my sms's and restore it after the update.

ed, 20 May 2010This the most damn WM phone I had ever used. problem proble... moreWow you have sooooo many phones am actually beginning to think that you don't have the x2 at all and your just trying to fight down SE well it not gonna work because a lot of us here are satisfied with our phone so if you don't like the x2 that you say you have well sell it. One mans junk is another mans treasure. The new update makes the phone even better than a lot of those phones that you called out

The phone is running a lot smother with little or no problem at all and I haven't heard much of any complaints since the update so give it a try am sure you gonna like it

1) Task manager at the... moreThe new software came with three new themes so you can change if you don't like the balck one you have now
The volume to me is not bad but you must ensure that all the ringing volume is up because the phone has two volume controller
The task manager is gone yes but as SE 2010 said there are apps that you can't download to run a task manager if it means that much to you
The phone is a hundred times faster than before and also a lot better with bigger icons and more finger friendly I love it compared to what we had first

This the most damn WM phone I had ever used. problem problem problem problem.......
1.sometime when keyboard slide out screen don't go sideway.
2.touch screen press & press few time only can get respond.
3.phone key pads is not user friendly.
4.phone book on the phone penal is not user friendly, missing the original note .
5.phone is slow to disconnect after calling.(press the screen or the key also same.)
6.the worst is the penal program. Don't use it if you can. yours phone will jam up always.
7.battery full charge wil not show 100%. need a reset to get the 100% charged show up display.
8.can't detect the sd card already put in in the "About" menu.
9. the setting for the backlight go off always run back to 30sec. did not the reset also.
10. the damn phone lock up completeby itself. Need to key in password to unlock. i never put in any password or lock this phone at all. need a reset to get it run back.
11.the zoom key is too near the lens. when you use it you will block the lens view.
12.the keyboard number key use blue with the silver on background is the worst design. can't see number key at day lightor at night.
***All this problem is happen before & after upgrade rom.
I uninstall allmost all the side program and left only the original WM 6.5 . the phone speed can use abit like my other O2 mini , O2 XDAlli ,HP620C , Samsung 780I, HTC TYTN II & HTC Touch Pro.
Don't Don't Don't Don't buy this damn phone when the up coming MAY new ROM not come out yet.

A couple of complaints after MR2:
1) Task manager at the top most right corner is gone, even the X (close) for apps. So when you exit the apps, they are still running at the back and you need to terminate them via task manager.
2) Analog clock for setting alarms is gone. I love how finger friendly it was before to wind the clock to the desired time for alarm.
3) Black background theme. It's kind of cool and classy at first but for some of my apps, I couldn't see anything (TCPMP).
4) Soft volume. I really hate this, I couldn't here my phone.
I do hope these stuff have tweaks. But these as just minor compared to how fast my phone is now.

Now the phone moves fact with no lagging or freezing. So all you have to do is buy the phone and update it and you will be satisfied and happy with your monies worth

i have one prblm with my X2, my mobile gets slow down and sometime not responding everyday when it becomes 20-24 hrs prior to restarting my phone. So i have to restart my phone everyday once or twice, which i think is not good.......
i dealing with one another prblm tht somethimes when my phone is in ideal state it doesnt recieve sms's and sometimes calls also bt when i use it shows the sms alert and also somtime show missed calls in my log and then i have to restart my phone once or twice to rid of this......
i took the help of SE service center, i dont know either they r saying true or false, tht plz change ur sim card, it has prblm....
i havent update my s/w from 6.5.2 to .3, should updateing the s/w works....
plz suggest me eht to do........ thanks in advance....

hey, i need some info regarding the BBconnect program..
I would like to install it on my X2, since it has been running SMOOTH-LEY rite now...
1. Is the blackberry messgr will work? my dad used it in X1 but he is only able to receive msg, is it like that or actually we also culd reply it?
2. Does installing it affected the X2 in anyway?
I've browse this issue, but kinda stilll confused..

lol i forgot about the new theme they gave us, i better go and change it...
yeah the task bar is not really a big deal but i like it cuz i can switch programs.. i will see how it goes before installing anything new

Hey X2 nobbie I'm glad your enjoying the new update :)
And what's all the fuss with this task manager thing? I mean why don't you just install a third party application and solve the problem because as far as I know there are tons of application that offer task managers. Even resco explorer has a task manager if I'm not mistake.
Outsby man you were great I mean it! I'm proud of you taking care of the users here, you should have a golden medal hehe :P
Your running 7 apps with no lag!! R u sure we are still speaking about the X2??! That's amazing :D
But what about this camera thing, it's kind of sad :(
because we should have a good 8mp camera, not a camera that gives pink spots and is blury. I'm sorry to hear that really.
