Well i must admit i cant tell when last i had to hit the reset button, Am not getting any freezing up or anything but in order for me to have gotten this done i had to delete alot of apps but thats ok because i was not using them anyway

Today I discovered an amazing thing! Well I must admit it's simple but I really liked it. Anyway, when your on the panels page just try using the joystick ( the square button in the middle of the device) left or right, or try using it to choose a specific button.
You will notice that while choosing the panels there will be a purple and pink color around them. Also while changing directions between left/right there will be a color like fire covering the icons! It's pretty cool really :)
PS: This will only happen if you use the joystick, if you use the stylus or your fingers you will never notice it.

i have the xperia and i am on it right now
what i can say about it is that its a good phone overall, but its not as good as u think.
the phone randomly crashes and then i have to take the battery out etc
the internet is a lil slow and it doesnt respond quick.
the wi fi connection quite poor cos it keeps switchin off and sometimes even pick up the internet when u are close to the hub.
although the keyboard is very good. although it can be slow and crashes sometime, it has good features to it like you tube app, windows mobile with word etc.
the optical pad is a lil annoying.
AND the camera is crap!!! doesnt look like 8 mp
The battery goes really fast honestly
I REALLY REGRET GETTING THIS PHONE!!!!
WISH I GOT THE IPHONE OR NOKIA OR HTC but thats that

Hey guys, i have a little problem :P my bday is in may 16th. and i want a new phone. for 2 months i wanted X2 cuz i really liked the windows software running on it :P but then i see so many poeple saying bad stuff about it. so im not sure wich to buy xD Xperia X2 or X10. can u give me some hints plz.
PS : i didnt want to buy x10 cuz its way to big.

Well with that said and every body agreeing with the change of OS for this magnificent phone I think we need to let SE know how we feel about it and hope that they will grant us our wish be cause the phone is wonderful but what's keeping it back is the Windows OS and trust me I spent slot of money on this phone, I was one of the first to have gotten this phone the same week it was released

Even with all the flaws in this device, I think it's pretty good and I love it. I'm really looking forward for the next update coming in May :)
P.S: this device is not for beginners and noobs, so if your a noob or your a beginner I think it's better to buy a device that is considered less complicated and more simple.
Finally, the hardware of this device and built quality is superb! I share the same point of view with my friend outsby, if this device had an Andriod os it would be the best! Yet I think with windows mobile 6.5.3 it will still do a good job :)

You guys all know about crappy performance of the device and I'm not here to make complaints. but you should seriuosly consider some compromises in order to get it work.
1- free up phone memory or ROM. all these frezes and crashes happen when the phone memory is less than 100MB. By deleting unnessesary panels and programs that are installed on phone memory you free the devil inside X2. all programs run faster, there will be no freeze, no need to hard reset and the problem regarding memory card which would not be found during some occasions will be solved. even the camera start up fast like 2-3 seconds.
2- instead of using opera 10 , use IE. I know the option are far less than opera but the operationaln speed of device does not suck during surfing.
3- get rid of the SDHC card that comes with the device. get another SDHC card that is 4th or 6th class(each class refers to speed of reading and writng). you will see how much faster this device will get.
with these methods you wont be bothered by lags and freezes. as a matter of fact I no longer need MR2 update to get this device work!

My honest opinion its a wonderful handset but i think SE should give us the option of either porting Sambian or Android onto this device to make it complete because i see thats the only thing thats keeping this device back. who want to agree can agree and who want to disagree can do the same but this is my opinion

Sony Ericsson should have called this the PPOC X2. Pure piece of crap. I don't blame them. I know they are capable of making good products. I blame the individual who thought that making this a Winblows Mobile 6.5 phone was a good idea. There is a lot of potential here. The form factor is fabulous. The OS lags and is very choppy. Restarts are required frequently during the week. The camera which everyone over rates is ok. LED flash? Crap. It is also too slow. Takes forever to start up and menu selections are painfully slow. Save your money. Don't buy this crap.

It's an annoying bug I know. If you want to know exactly is your battery is fully charged just check the mobile shell panel. Or you can install a certain application for this.
