SE 2010, this was the case for w960i, everybody was criticising it including people from other forums and when i finally bought it, the phone was cool and it wasnt slow as they were talking and it is still serving me perfectly till date. Any phone u have people from other forums criticising is the BOMB!!!! People will keep on criticising SE but the wont want to go out of the affairs of SE users! Please keep on the good work on how we shall make our devices (X2) better. cheers

All these Samsung pests!!!!!!!!! Please leave Xperia forum alone cos samsung can not come half close where sony ericsson phones are being displayed or tested not to talk of Xperia models. Xperia models are models for the kings!!!!.... I can't wait to have mine but it will be after the last update (version 6.5.3). I believe u SE 2010, u re completely focused!SONY ERICSSON is unbeatable by any model of phones.........

Sorry but all you said can be described... morei am not a fan for samsung or any other manufacturer ...and my phones of different brand and os depending on my needs and sometimes just a curiosity .....and nowadays i am looking for a windows mobile with optical pad so thats why i am checking this phone and i read a lot about it , saw many videos so my result was this phone is slower than omnia II may be due to the processor ,and i will wait for SE update because i need FM radio ,video call,faster phone.....of course u r free to put my comment in a single((ward))

i bought xperia x2 8 days ago....
my review :
1. screen : great,,but can't match my brother's samsung jet AMOLED
2. Windows OS/xperia ui : very2 laggy compared other winmo's device,,even my old xperia x1 seems little bit fater than x2
3. Screen sensitivity : worse! u must press it...just like x1
4. build quality : great! seems sturdy and fine
5. camera : good but can't match c905 and innov8/n86
6. sound quality : good...no problem
compared x2 and omnia2,,,u can watch at youtube.....
my opinion : omnia2 seems faster than x2.....and more finger friendly....x2's screen too small while omnia2's styled ui seems optimized for finger use

Also, with the final updates of the X2 it will be much faster than the omnia 2 for sure! But for people who have omnia or samsung phones. I'm sorry but samsung will not support you or release any update soon. So just live with it!

SE lost their QA and QC,,,SE now at bottomed rank....
moto can survive coz their DROID/MILESTONE
while SE? satio failed, xperia x10 too late....
have u read at Samsung S8500 wave?
the build quality and Bada OS is superb!!
Bada seems to be the fastest os (after iphone os)
the coverflow,music player,fluidity,,,big icons is finger friendly....(combination of iphone+android+symbian)

The X2 is out dated before release, they just took your money..... U would've been better served to save your money for the release of WM7 phones or the HD2....... The HD2 is the best phone out hands down, no question..... The second best is the Omnia II, the third is the X1 (same as X2 but different number in front of the X. That's all that changed)......lol

built quality is ok, so... morewait for the updates to be released and you will see for your self the difference in performance.
And as I said before its not slow its average and yes it is much faster than any samsung phone.

to give you an honest answer, YES it is awfully slow
I am searching for ways either to increase the clocksped if possible/delete few programs/change the phone itself now!!

SE always make failed phone.....
slow old 528mhz cpu.....expensive price....
low build quality.....SE is falling down while moto is in recovery...
compared to Samsung and Nokia,,SE is crappy waste....
SE goes bankrupt if their X10 and vivaz fail like satio

Because in general wm devices are kind of laggy if we compare them to symbian or android os. Anyway, what about the SE Aspen have you considered it? I also think its a great choice. Regarding the X2, it doesn't matter if you take it now or later since you plan to update it.
But in case your not going to update the phone like most users, I don't recommend having it now.
