Wikiphobia, 07 Jan 2010The 1st 8 MP cam phone is not SE C905, but it was Samsung S... moreLol, if we talk about the first 8MP camera phone it was the C905, coz that phone is sold worldwive, but about the Korean 8MP camera phone... :)) That is the cause, do you think I am a fool and I don't know about Samsung?? Samsung announced the world's first 10MP camera phone in 2006, but that was sold only in Korea if I know right, but what about Europe, and America?? The C905 was sold in Europe and America too. :) ABout N91 you are right, sorry for the mistake. The W950 is a touchscreen phone, and has a bigger screen, so the W950 is better in these things right? :) Now let's forget Samsung, SE now is the king in camera phones, after Sharp, because Sharp is the BEST in the world in camera phones, and in screen category. The Satio is the first 12MP smartphone available in markets now! What about Nokia and LG?? :D They are left behind, and Moto too! Moto does not have an 8 MP camera phone available in the markets! Your source is Gsmarena right? I have many other sites too, I was wrong about the W950, no one is perfect right? SE is a good company, I don't like they have a factory in China, this is the only one I don't like. SE is very advanced, in camera category, I know Nokia has the N93, but that model is too old, and they didn't came up with something new, SE will came up soon with something impressive! You will see it. SE is very good at music phones, do you agree? The X10 has an 1GHZ CPU, they made an Android with 1GHZ, now you can tell me 2 devices with 1GHZ and Android? I don't think so. The first 1GHZ phone was the Toshiba Tg01 with 1GHZ CPU, after that HTC announced their HD2, but both run on Windows Mobile. Acer has an Android phone too with 700+CPU, but not 1GHZ! SE was beaten in this category by many mobile company(Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, LG), but now this is changed. And many things will be changed in good, believe me. :) What is your favourite mobile phone company?

Mobilemaster, 07 Jan 2010You are right, but about GPS, you are not right, coz Nokia ... moreThe 1st 8 MP cam phone is not SE C905, but it was Samsung SPH-V8800 (Q4 2005).

The 1st phone with 4 GB internal storage was Nokia N91 (announced Q2 2005), followed by Samsung i300x (announced Jan 2006) and SE W950 (ann. Feb 2006). But if you also considered 3 GB internal memory in this club, it was Samsung i300 that came first in Q1 2005.

        hey people :)

I just need to ask for few opinions. I am on the search for a new phone. Currently I am using the SE W810i and I am happy with it, but it is time to upgrade. I had LG K990 viewer but it sucked big time. I guess what I need is a phone that has wi-fi, touch screens and buttons as well. The touch screen is not so necessary. The buttons and wi-fi are a must :) And it has to be SE.
I was deciding between XPERIA X2, Aino or W995 ...
What do you guys think ? I am so lost...Please give me advise.

J Kruger, 07 Jan 2010Guys, come on. I think this nagging about the radion on an ... moreyou are right. Millions of people bought the Iphone and still getting it and doesn't give a shit about the radio. I've own quite a lot of phone that has radio and for once i never plugged an earphone just to listen to radio.

Radio is just for low to midtier phones, basic phones, non-smart phones. So basic that all you can do is to listen to radio.

By the way about the first 8MP camera it is true, the C905 was announced first, the first 4GB phone was announced by SE if I knoe right. SE announced the world's first 12MP smartphone!

              XPERIA X2:
              -Nicer looks(IMO)
              -More compact
              -Better camera
              -Better pixel density on screen
              -Nicer GUI(IMO)
              --------------------------------
              OMNIAPRO:
              -Faster (it should be)
              -AMOLED screen
-Bulkier(or *Bigger Screen* if you like it)
              --------------------------------
Price and weight are almost the same(or omniapro is a bit more expensive,i'm not sure) so no big deal.

Very nice phone, good overall size and resolution, could use AMOLED screen, yes, but ok it's not a very big problem.Anyone could live with it i think.X2 vs OmniaPro:X2 is better looking both on the outside and on the inside(nicer panels and user interface),OmniaPro should be faster due to it's processor, but IMO it's too bulky!qwerty with 3.2"+ 800x480 resolution is better than qwerty with 3.5"+800x480 resolution.;).Also the camera on X2 is better.I think it's enough...

Dont you think that the media funcions are more than enough? I have had about any possible phone you can think of and NEVER have i used the stupid radio!!
People who buy phones like the X2 do not use the phone for listening to music and watch movies. Thats what the Iphone is made for.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2010Need some advice here. Planning to get myself (my first if ... moreI know WinMo only from reading around and watching videos over different handsets.

WinMo 6.5 has been working good on HD2 and other devices so I think we can say it is stable, however (according to user's comments) once in a while you will have to face reset and freezing kind of issues, but not as often as previous versions.

X2's User Interface, the panel's system allow you to access regular Windows function easy through different panels so I am sure you will find one or two panels that you can stick with for work around your device. It might be not as fun-looking as HTC's Sense but you will find them very functional. The good thing about X2 will be, that you can install HTC's Sense into X2 so you can make is more friendly.

Everything needs a bit of maintaince and manual working to optimize for better performance. If you are up to it you will be able to make more out from X2, if not I think it will still be not bad at all.

These are also the points that gives me confident about trying out WinMo.

No offence if your a stupid person it will not work for you and you may feel it very complicated. On the other hand, if you are smart you will totally love it! Because what it offers and it offers a lot.

It's like when you buy a sport fast car, the car will make you want to race or want to go fast with it because of it's capabilities.

With wm6.5 professional you will have a hell of a device, and with the X2 it's really going to be something worth buying.

No need for tweaks unless you want to make your device more amusing and entertaining. WM is not hard and confusing at all, it's simple trust me.

All you need is to give it some time to learn on it.

Hope this helps a little my friend and have a good day.

Is WinMo easy to operate? Was it userfriendly? Does it need a lot of tweaking? Is it stable?
