I think toshiba phones looks better than those panasonic and sharp phones.. The sharp and panasonic really has a japanese style. I think they just have to change it to be successfull
going global. SE is a japanese-swedish company, sony for electronics and because ericsson a sweden cellphone company makes their design,it turns out to be more of an international look, SE very sucessfull going global, i think thats the problem with the japanese phones, despite having advanced technology, in their eyes the designs looks good but internationally many dont like it. To be sucessfull you have to impressed other countries also, not just yourself, they have to study what is out there and appreciated by many countries.

How does this phone compare to the nokia n97? I always have used nokias and just got the n97, does this phone compared to the n97, I know the camera is better but how is it overall?
Some say this is no better than the xperia x1?
I have always been impressed with Japanese technology.
I own a Japanese car, I have a sony bravia tv, a sony dvd player a sony playstation3 and a psp.
But sony ericssion phones have never impressed me like their other products.
Sony phones are nothing compared to their amazing gaming department.

I love the features I have seen about the phone. With a 16GB memory, can I use a graphics software on it, and are the coordinates of the GPS positioning in grid or geographicals?

Yes I like it I'm only 13 and I will buy my mother said yes. i like it cause it has great features and it doesn't goes out the limit of phones. It is the best design in a very high-end phone in my opinion, second is motorola dext

This phone is getting old fast. HTC HD2 1ghz is out this month Samsung with 800mhz is out allready and both should run WM7 when it comes out next year. why does it take SE 4EVR 2 release a dam ph. SE=SLOW

Their designs are cool, the Sharp Sh-07A can be rotated in t form. Look at the Panasonic P905i, that is their first Nokia N92 like design phone. Or you can look at the Nec N-01A, that is the most interesting like phone. Visit plz Youtube, and see their design. You can write there Sharp Sh-07A, or Panasonic P-01A, you can write also Fujitsu F-01A, or Nec N-06A. See those phones, and tell me your opinion. :) Probably some big SE fans will be angry because of our conversations, so plz see those phones, maybe my comment will be deleted.

I thought their designs are pretty classic looks, i hope they change it to whats new and latest in our time,, i think their technology is very advanced, but they lack creativity in design. Thats why they struggle going global. Despite their advance technology. Korea's samsung and LG, and taiwan's HTC also an asian company but they are very successfull going global than japan's sharp panasic and toshiba, because samsung,LG, and HTC adopts the international designs and they just went to the flow of whats latest today in terms of technology, rather being too advanced.

Mobilemaster, 04 Oct 2009I don't really believe waht you said, Sharp said they will ... moreYes you are right, japan cellphones makers are planning to go global but what ive said is true, they have an advance technology like watching tv with your phones, having a 4G network, and they use their cellphones as computer more than a desktop or loptops because their phones are like a real pc thats why most of their phones cannot connect to a pc, no need because they use it and it is capable being a pc.. Thats how advance the japanese cellphones are.. but do you think you can use that features in europe and americas? NO! Thats the reason why japanese cellphones despite having an advance technology still useless outside japan.
