Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970no one can tell for sure what is going to be the better phone between the satio and X2. What i can do though is point out some differences:
Satio is a 12MP Camera phone, while the X2 is an 8MP premium pocket PC.
The X2's range of features will encompass working as a mobile office, as well as a decive that you can be contacted on, while having a nice and good camera on it(the X1's camera is quite top- notch too, though i have noticed on full- res view, there are jaggies in their photos, but other than that- no purple-fringeing- a common problem with SE camera phones).
For emulation purposes, go for the X2. Its more advanced hardware will be useful here
for media watching, these 2 will be closely tied. The Xperia series uses both SE's media player(very good) and, for the moment, windows Media player(the X3 is not out yet, so no flames please) is ok, in a bbraod, generous point of view.
what will be a deciding factor in who wins in the multimedia department for me would be who includes the track ID feature. it is something i am bitterly missing about the X1, even after 8 months of owning one.
At the end of the day, neither of these phones are built, and as such are only really available in prototypes. Make your decision once you have had a play with a retail version of each phone for yourself

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2009By the way Windows Mobile really sucks.Symbian may have thousands of applications but most of those are a piece of crap whereas Windows Mobile combines functionality and quality.

one thing that missing from SE is values vs money.nokia sold out expensive handset because their big name and user friendly interface and making lots of series for their making money sceme.SE alwalys doing the wrong thing with packing a handset with so much exclusive things and become so expensive.moto always come with innovation but its to weird and not usefull.samsung always forgot to put something in their gears like radio as exmp.LG?batere life is annoying and non OS.why they are not making some full gears in some nice and affordable price?i think we just need hand writing recognition set with sliding qwerty,3mp cam, 3G and tv-out with youtube and mobile office,1500 battere pack in simple and cheap price,thats gonna hit the market.

The ... moreDude ! wit all due respect, 3.5 " would look awfully-bizarrely-oddly big on a slider set. flip sets carry 'em well u kno it,but not the slide-outs pls. guess the ideal size could be 3.3 ". anyways not much difference wit the X2 3.2 " tho. Still X2 wit almost flawless design. unbeatable piece of giz.

I do'nt knw like i have use all phones nearly nokia,sony ericsson,lg,htc and alot more .
I've never liked sony ericsson it never gave the comfort of used as different feautured phone.
i think sony needs to launch some thing out standing now!
for a while they should stop launching expensive handsets and try launching something little in controll and not try copy nokia as nokia is only to launch phones every hour ,because of which the prics of used sets are really going down.
so i think X-1 should have stayed a little more in market and if X-3 is to launch then X-2 launching is only to devalue our money!

I red some comments here, some guys said SOny Ericsson will die, but this is NOT true, Sony Ericsson will NOT DIE, they has 2 great smartphones, and the X3 is coming soon, maybe will be announced this year, if not, will be announced at Mobile World Congress with the Satio II device too, or maybe another high-end devices!!! Sony Ericsson is NOT dead, Sony Ericsson Rocks!!!
