I like this phone because of the panels... It comes with nice features as well but the panels is what does it for me... something with sony ericsson that they can just make a phone look classy and exec. I also like this phone because it stands out although it has the features of other phones but yet still something about it pops. I agree with some that yeah it could be improved and i read gsmarena "first look" and they didn't seem to like it because it wasn't innovative enough but i do like it however i am not willing to pay over $400.00 USD for it. :) So hopefully i can get it for that price sometime at the end of the year or early next year... but you know how the phone world is... i may see something else that i like... Phones are being spawned so rapidly... GOSH! lol...

What an extra ordinary phone. What a revolution in GSM Market. I'm still waiting for its release. I must have this XPERIA X2. This aint a phone, I call it a mini laptop. But i'v got one criticism; no radio or tv out as seen in most nokia 3.5G phones.

GSM Arena please update the specs on this device : it has Radio function.
On another note this phone should have a CPU with at least 800Mhz-1Ghz for the OS to run smooth and play hq videos. I like the design overall but the hardware keys should've look more stylish not like some cheap plastic...I'm affraid SE hurry-"ed" the realease of this smartphone in a very competitive period right now and salewise X2 won't go further than what X1 did on the market so far...I think SE buyed too many Qualcomm processors for X1 and expected to sell more,they failed to do so and they integrated them in X2.

myteam94, 06 Sep 2009guys,i want to know what is the difference between xperia 2... morethats a good question cos other than the things you said there is no difference. oh yes i forgot 155 grams vs 181 grams and sony ericsson sound quality with the largest stereo speakers ive seen on a phone is the things that are better in x2 and the most important off all battery life 1500 mah li-po batt in x2 is impressive so batt life in n900 is gonna be pretty crappy since its a nokia.

Good things: "from XPERIA X1"
- 8 megapixel camera with WVGA video recording
- Stereo speakers
- Great XPERIA new panels and OS
- Nice design "it's smaller than N900 and OMNIA II"
Bad things:
- no radio
- no graphics accelerator
- The same processor
So, this is the best windows mobile phone with great multimedia features but the performance is not good and it's worse than XPERIA X1.
This phone need at least 800 MHz with graphic accelerator to record this high quality video or even play 720p videos.

Samsung has five phones with 8 MP camera, Sony Ericsson has four with 8MP camera, they are good, Nokia has only one! LG has 4 phones like Se too! SO Sony Ericsson is NOT left behind in camera phones like others(Motorola, Nokia). Sony Ericsson has the world's first 12MP smartphone too, so Sony Ericsson ROCKS!!! Next year Se will announce 15MP phones!!!

WOW!! Sony is now using Li-po for their phones' battery! This lasts way longer than nokia's horrible Li-ion batteries which is really weak. SE will definitely beat Nokia..

The Satio is way better than that ugly piece of brick n900. It has Open Gl, smart pixel, really fast processor, and a lot more to offer. n900 is weak with its horrible performance and lousy 5 MP camera with no xenon, and only 1320mAH LI-ION battery, and freakishly heavy 181grams!! What a st*pid phone with horrible design that looks like a toy. SE has a way more sleek and cool design.

And I don't wanna buy cellphones that are like bricks and has ugly designs and boring user interface like Nokia. SE is way cool with funky designs, good UI, and good quality. Samsung and LG are great too! It won't be too long when Nokia won't be the leading cellphone manufacturer!
