I totally agree with the let downs in the phone, the Screen, not OLED and no multi touch. Low memo. But I have had the X1 for 10 months now. N its been fantastic. I love it, just because of that I want this phone.
I am not fussed about the Cam being a 8.1 or 3.2. As long as I can make calls. Make notes, use the calendar functions n have excel. I am dead Happy.
Now I am confused, There is the BB storm 2 which will be on its way soon, The N900 and the new communicator next year at some point.
Everything thing I have heard about the Storm2 makes me want to wait for it. The N900, may be a good tablet phone, but if you have seen the video, the quality n looks are a bit tacky. There are absolutely no news on the Nokia Communicator, which I would die to have, and am not gettin the E90 coz i dont want to end up with a old outdated one.
So for me its the storm 2 or the X2. the n900 just might make the cut. I have already spoken to Carphonewarehouse and they are due to ring me as soon as they hear anything about the 2 phones.
Over all this may not be the perfect replacement for the X1, as it is missing a few things that should have been present. But it comes close, and hopefully it dosent have many issues as the X1, that many people complained of.
Just before ending, there is one more factor that attracts me to this phone. I was reading in the SE website that, it might be limited stock in markets. Grab one if u want, bcoz u nvr know if it is limited you might not ever get one.

"Work&Play UI vs SE Panels" - is an advantage for X2
"800Mhz Processor vs Uknown" - if its unknown than no advantage or disadvantage
"up to 32GB microSD vs up to 16GB" - SE supports 32gb too thats for sure
"DNSe vs Xperia lacks that" - SE has a much much better sound quality even if Sammsung use DNSe version 2.0, 3.0 or 100.0

Sony is always best that is new version is execellent with lots of new features i like it awesome this is slap on nokia bcoz 5800 express n 5800 navigator are same so make diffrence like this..... Between x1 n x2. In few words sony is best as always

i might be missing the point of this phone and hopefully some se fans can tell explain it to me. why wud i buy this instead of say nokia n900? the only advantage i can see is this has 3 more megapixels but on a far less colorful screen. i can safely assume this will be very expensive just like the n900 but if i want winmo 6.5 i can probably get that on most htc devices and that will come with touchflo as well as an accelerometer which this lacks and for cheaper. i still dont see the whole point of panels. they are a slower way of getting to the information/stuff u want than touchflo. and why not get the se satio/idou instead which is also a nice smartphone (according to se) with better picture quality and a more colorful and bigger screen? dont get me wrong this phone is certainly v good but there are better phones and i hope se releases the x3 with android really soon instead of the (unpopular) windows it is currently using on xperia phones.
