Yes my phone is made in china, and no there is no charge at all for giving you the internet setting for your handset :)
And finally, I hope your enjoying your phone so far :)

Where can I find the ~ button on the physical keyboard? Is there some kind of key combinations? I'm tired of going to the on screen keyboard & tap the symbols icon to get to the ~ every time I have to use it..

Go to setting> personal > phone > band.
Choose gsm for 2G mode or switch to WCDMA for 3G mode.

In this case, contact the local SE office near you, or pay them a visit and tell them to give you the setting for your handset.
Because if your carrier is not able to configure the Internet setting for your phone. SE should provide you with it, ask them to give you the internet + MMS setting.
And if you want to be sure that everything works well, it's better to go their in person to check afterwards if it worked or not :)

Most of the mobiles now are made in China like Nokias and SE's handsets. Also, there are few samsung mobiles that are made in china. Don't worry because although it's made in China, but the management is still from Japan- Sweden. So the quality is pretty good.

Dunno if it should be that way or not.. But at least it behaves well, no problems.. If I don't find out I wouldn't even think it was made in China ;)

Try to do a hard reset for your phone, I hope it will hel... moreAww.. Too bad.. I really hope there is a fix or something about the standby SMS notification problem..
Anyway, I find it hard to connect to the internet using my local network.. I tried almost (maybe) everything.. From mobile data, connection setup, etc.. Even after it had configured the network setting, it still wouldn't connect.. Help?

Try to do a hard reset for your phone, I hope it will help :
setting> system> hard reset
And no you can't downgrade to MR1, but trust me MR2 is much better!

Call the maintenance center ASAP and tell them about the problem, if your X2 is not working at all! It may be defected and you may be eligible for a new phone.
Just remember folks, don't you ever unplug the cable from the phone while your updating it! Wait for the whole update to finish and then unplug the cable from the phone.

I find the X2 slow, and often confusing in that sometimes I just touch the screen and it goes, other times I have to press 2 or 3 times!
I have problem now;- every time I switch on I have a reminder from about 2 weeks back which I can't get rid of. I have tried everything. I have the 90 page "extended user guide" can't find what todo.
Help anyone?"

Lulzim, 11 Sep 2010Sony Ericsson is not first but is NR 1Dude I just experienced a sony 3d TV, and let me tell you that it's the best TV I have ever seen in my life!!!
It's totally out of this world! U feel alive in it. It beats LCD'S & LED'S any day anytime! Just keep in mind that samsung 3d TV'S really suck compared to Sony. I tried a samsung before but it hurts your eyes and you feel dizzy after a while.
