You're not the only person going thru this. i believe every X2 user went thru it. The phone just disappointed all of us at the start. My P910 and P990 were all good. i skipped P1i and X1, and assumed that X2 would be superb...but alas!!!
Anyway, MR2 came and solved most of the problems, plus some third-party apps i installed have transformed the phone into something quite decent.
I now know how to handle it while waiting in hope that SE resolves the remaining issues.
So, i'll say what u r experiencing is unfortunate and a shame to SE.

Why does X2 delete files for no reason but somehow its still there cos the memory is full?
is it X2's fault or the memory cards?
This has never happened before to any of my other phones:/
X2 is really getting on my nerves
My sister has a HTC HD2 and she has had no problems whatsoever so far and she bought it before me:(
Whats the problem thats causing this to happen?? anyone know??

512 MB RAM, 2GB ROM beats the memory of both xperia X2 and X10!!
microSD can go up to 32GB! very good indeed!
I am impressed!!
But i've resolved to look really hard, read and re-read user opinions and experiences and possibly have an actual hands-on trial before buying a new handset...after the X2 experience!

I bet the xperia x2 is made by some chineese local comapany and using sony name..
I just returened my x2 within 10hrs to same shop and somehow convinced them to exchange with smasung galaxy i9000… Guys i9000 is worth more than 28k.. no flaws till now.. it doesnt need flash.. cause i never saw colour enancment like i9000 does.. at night 7pm the picture so bright. plz plz.. think 1000 times before u go for xperia or wm6 from sony.

this phone sucks..mine freezeeesss allll the time.. the battery needs to be charged almost 2 times everydaaay... i paid 600 hundered bucks for this phone and im so regreting my money

However, batteries are improving now, so maybe we will see such thing in the future and all your dreams will come true one day :)

Did you try installing the SDFix.exe or SDFix.cab?
You may give the SDFix.cab a shot. It's located here:
