you can always download a document viewer from the market, majority of the applications are free anyway, and try launcher pro, even though you are at 2.1 you can do a lot of stuff, if ever you are eager on installing several applications to your phone there is a way to install apps 2 sd

Search for Link2SD at the Android market. Read the instructions well. Important requirement is to ROOT first your phone. You can root it by Using SuperOneClick. Search Google.

Gey people ive been using the x8 for abt a month now and it works great :) but theres one lil problem...... :/ I dont recieve new txt.messages. The phone says I have no txt message space left...... But I dont even have 10 txt messages in my inbox and.eventhoigh I deleted some messages it still wont recieve new messages... :( can sumone plz tell me how to change.where I can store txt messages or how to correct this error..... :(

The worst phone and total wastage of money...
Dear Friend... Plz plz plz dont by Sony Xperia X8 it is an expired product..Product itself is bad and the service of Sony product horrifying.... Sony advertise it as a Smart phone but it is a dumb one...The android 2.1 version itself not latest one....missing various basic features of the smart phones like camera flash , camera zoom , u cannot create playlist for music , this phone hving hardware pb the bluetooth will trouble u always....By my experience No for Sony X8...

Hi..i just bought this phone for about one month..no problem actually with this phone..i like it though...
erm, since i already have my digital camera, then the camera is not a big deal when it doesn't support zoom mode...The sound is great, clear screen, Battery is...no comment..hahah...overall i gave 3.5/5

after owning this cute little flimsy phone, im quite amazed on how this cute little device can do,, the looks are so classy and eye catching as your not just using another brick, it is very good phone, the battery was excellent and the phone was very responsive, the only things that turns me down was the camera, it is the most simple camera sony has ever installed in a phone,, no basic controls,, and also the on board qwerty the buttons are very small i always end up touching the other keys, if sony put multitap keys while in portrait mode and only turns into qwerty when in landscape was a good idea instead of squeezng it into small virtual keys,, and if sony will release the update froyo ang ginger bread in future this fashionable phone will be a hit..

dash, 29 Apr 2011hye..can anybody help me...i just bought xg yesterday..my p... moreyou mean you wanted installed applications to be moved to memory card?? that's not possible for x8 since it has only 2.1 eclair os, only 2.2 froyo or later offers application to be installed on sd card. You can root your phone and install apps2sd or the other way round is to use custom froyo or gingerbread rom but you have to carefully follow the procedures in doing so otherwise you might brick your phone and also it will void your warranty. :)
