I don't need email, video, and internet on my phone -- I just need to make calls and send texts. Thus, this phone is perfect. It's cute and small, and has cool effects. There are better phones out there, but for the price, it's great.

i'm getting this phone tomorrow as a replacement for my chocolate.. so i hope this phone is better than it looks.

its a good basic phone but the battery does not last as is marketed to be. it just sucks the life out of the battery. but when you insert the battery in another phone, it shows that its still half full!

Just bought the Z310, and so far it's fine for the price paid 110$. I have one question, can someone tell me how to download pictures to my computer. It does not seam as if a regular ubs can bu used for the transfer.thanks

this phone is terrible...i keep getting shocks down my hand when i use it. it is not grounded well

When i bought this phone, I heard the continuous static, starting from the moment you dial someone's number, and it continues to hve this static even when talking
Does anyone else have this problem? or know how to fix it?? Thanks!

the phone is really pretty but thats pretty much it for the pros.
after a week of using it the sound would die and id have to turn if then on again. the memory is really bad because it only fits like one or two songs if you have like 20-30 pictures. The camara is really bad, the picture is OK when you first take it but when you go look at it in the album its really weird.
i dont rlly like the phone but if your only after looks and the basic features like calling and sms its alright

I bought this phone for my girlfriend as a replacement for her old phone that had died.
She's not really tech savvy in the sense that for her a phone is used to call and sms. In that regard the phone is wonderful.
She really likes it. She finds the light effects really neat. The speaker is more than loud enough so she doesn't miss calls. The vibrator is also quite strong. Since we have the same circle of friends, I simply sent all my contacts to her phone, and she was really impressed and excited that the phone reminded her of birthdays and such.
She also really enjoyed the day/night themes, and how they change. She has no problems texting or anything.
I'm a long time user of my K750, so I can't help but compare the two. Overall the layout is the same, but there are some things I like better and some worse.
At first I thought the lower resolution screen would be quite noticeable, but once I started playing around with the phone, it's not a problem for texting or using the phonebook.
The lack of a dedicated media player also threw me off for a bit, but she always has her iPod so that's a moot point.
One thing that I did notice though, is the battery doesn't last as long as long as I thought it would. It's not terrible, but she has to charge it every 3 days or so. This isn't really a problem since we both have SE's and the chargers are the same.
I could point out all the "flaws" in the phone, but in reality it's a wonderful phone. I keep forgetting that the phone isn't for me, and I always want bigger and better. For some people though, all they want is to call and sms, like my girlfriend. In fact, she thought the alarm and calendar were a little much in the phone, and the camera too.
Again, if you want a really good phone with some extras, consider the Z310. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best bang for the buck. Oh, I should mention that here's is going 3 weeks strong with no problems.

hi bear76,Sorry to hear that the replacement mobile is just as bad.
Sounds like this phone is a total dud that cannot be fixed in terms of its battery life, and SE are misleading everyone with their advertising.
thanks for that ACCC phone number... i will definitely call them this week.
It has been 4 weeks since Sony have had my mobile for repair/testing. I cant believe it takes that long...

I bought this phone in june. and i must say i very much like it.
I have had two fones before (both audiovoxes) and this has to be my favorite.

This is a great little phone. It was bought for my cousin who stays at friends houses and needed a cell phone. It is perfect for her! I would recommend!

anybody can tell me where i can get the software driver to be installed in my computer? tried to find it but no success..:S..thanks all...
*jes, if u wanna check whether you have a missed calls or new sms without opening the clam, you can press the sound button on the left side of the phone. you will see the lights on the cover showing if there's a missed call / sms..

Bought this phone yesterday. Sound quality not that great but my question is this...if I miss a call or have a message, the icons on the front only stay lit for about 20 seconds then dissapear. They do not reappear until I open my phone or press the button on the side. How will I ever know I have missed a call without having to pick up the phone...seems pointless...Is this normal?

I thinks its Trendy looking.. the flashing coloured lights are cool.. but the sound quality is lacking badly --- sounding weak and "tinny"
