Aside from it's bulkiness it's not a bad phone. It has annoying issues like crashing and the speaker connection seems faulty. The hinge came loose after a week, this annoys me as it's not a difficult task to manufacture.

I bought this phone a year ago, and im still using it!! Its a great phone. my dream phone, i fell in love with this phone the moment i saw it!!! A great phone...i hope SOny Ericsson will launch an upgrade for this phone soon!!

i had one since it was released, its a GREAT phone, if a phone is what you need, if you want mp3, camera ect ect forget it. I would get another one like that but its out of the market in Greece as very old so i am getting the z520 that will hopefully be the closest thing to it

I just bought a used one - and my first impression is great - BUT: the speaker has a lose contact. Often the ring is not heard, thus. If I press down the cover over the speaker, the sound plays, but after a while the speaker disconnects, again.
Might be due to transport shock - I wonder if this problem has been ocurred more frequent and how easy it is to fix?

I have had this phone since it cam out, for 1 year and 6 months, and i must say it is pretty reliable. The only bad things about it is that the memory is very small, so you have to delete old pics and sms'es to make room for new ones. Also, the voice recording doesnt work because it gets stuck when you playback, and the phone freezes when you are deleting pictures. I dropped my phone in the toilet once, and after 7 days it was working fine again. A great phone, only very heavy and makes a loud click sound when you open it and close it.

Well, I have one of z600 by 1 year and 4 mounths. The good things are the OS is very easy to use, have a lot of features. About design and lights I like very much. Shock support is amazing, since it fall off directly to the ground some times, and nothing happen, just surface damage. I didn´t expect that the sound would be so nice, even with only 32 channels. The battery life is quite good. The bad things was the problems that I had to visit vodafone two times, they change the fone once. After that no more problems, even with some falls off. The camera, I think that you can forget to use, so bad quality and too small resolution, at least is better than the camera from Siemens MC60. Bluetooth is present, but I can´t do anything more that transfer files, and use other bluetooth devices with it, since that other fones we can do some very fun things. About the memory is also not good thing, too small. To finish: the delay with each button press is some times is irritating. About sms the t9 dictionary have a lot of bullshit words. Conclusion: I like very much the fone, since the time that I bought I wasn´t care about the camera, the price was very reasonable, and it do quite good the most importante thing that is make and receive calls. well i really like sony ericssons, if i buy this one today, it would be my ninth sony ericsson. i am afraid to do so however, because of what i've read about the camera. would someone please email me and tell me about the camera..and phone..if its good or not.

I love sony ericssons and was trying something different however i just became disappointed with the camera resolution of this phone.Pity i have to live with it as it is such a mission to get the phone exchanged and get one with great resolution.

ive had my phone for about 7 months...and now .. its started sending my text messages to the wrong people for some strange reason. and i agree with the others the carmera is shocking.. and the memory is barely there at all.. it was a cool mobile for 2 weeks.. then i realised i got riped off

I have had mine for about 1 year and 2 months and just when the waranty period expired the sound of the ringtones is not working anymore
I sill love my phone cause it has lots of nice features but there are cheaper ones now on the market and with many more features
I want to buy a sendo x with video, mp3 playing and expandable memory and almost half of the price for what I payed for this one
Any way back to the phone I reiniciated it to see if the ring tones came back but I just lost some games and all of my contacts and sms I had on it ( I wrote down some but I dont want to put them back on the phone with no sound, Guess I will do it on a new one)
I was unable to connect to the sony ericcson downloads many times, I was lucky only once
To end Sony ericsson sent me a response asking me to bring back the phone with the box, reciept
I live in Mexico and sent me a 1-800 phone number from Argentina Hello?
I cant call even if I try long distance cause its not the same number even if I try with the other country code

I guess no one can be perfect and SonyEricsson isn't the exception. The z600 is the only mistake that SonyEricsson had made. I hope it's the one and only.

I've had the z600 since it first came out, and i loved it, but as better phones have come out, and mine has grown older, it seems to have lost the appeal it once had. It looks great and i love the outside covers and themes you can apply. The camera is bad, and mine freezes alot and i seem to be always deleting pictures and txt messages to make room for new ones. The sound i think isn't very good for recording and the polyphonic ringtones sound too old now. I think if your not looking for a big memory and good camera, just a nice colour picture phone with a few nice games and colourful covers, then this is the phone for you.
