I bought this Z600 August last year and it has been performing well. I've never been disappointed with it particular it. It's ability to record... is okay and the camera is sharp.

I have used this phone for about 18 months - so it's no longer the sharpest tool in the box - but hey get a life!!!
If you want cutting edge technology - upgrade ya freaks!!
It's performed without fault - still as solid as ever - no dodgy hinge. The screen has been protected with the flip closure and the battery life is still excellent.
I am going to upgrade to the Samsung E720 as I think the 'flip design' works - no trashed screen from keys or change in your pocket - I only hope it performs to the same standard as my Z600 - nice one sony E

I Have the Z600 for almost a Year now... Before i bought this phone, i had a T68i. I can tell you that although the T68i in comparison with the Z600 looks ancient ( in means of its abilities ) it is certainaly more beautiful ( as a design ). I admit that i never really liked the looks of the Z600. The camera also of the phone is bad. Even at the time of its release it was considered a bad camera in comparison with other models. But then again at that time few mobiles had cameras. Today it is considered awful. It has a max resolution of only 352x288 and a very bad image ( especially in low light ).
What I like about the phone? It has nice and easy menu, a very good and bright screen, customizable themes, nice polyphonic sounds, and very good reception.

I have it, Its cool, cute, and small :) but the camera is really bad, certainly not like NOKIAs cams!

I have it, I hate it.
It's ugly, big, crappy camera, slow features.
Everything takes a hundred years when you use it! Man! I could fall asleep using it!
Buy the laste SonyEricsson's for example K750i, a really good phone, I'm waiting for it to be released so I can buy it! 2 Megapixel camera :D

Very good Features exept for the cam... But i absoloutely HATE its appearence! it just annoys me... other than thjat well its a good phone, with a reasonable price! Well done Sony Ericsson

It's a really cool phone but after about 8 months it started freezing every so often. I contacted the local Sony E place and was informed that a software upgrade is necessary to stop it from freezing. I need to store all info somewhere else before taking it in for upgrade as I will lose all info during the process. NZ35 for service + software upgrade cost.

I own a great Sony Ericssonn Z600 (Svensk kvalität och teknologi) and am very pleased with it. But I have a problem... while in the beginning I could transfer pictures and sounds from the mobile phone to my laptop through the Infrared port after downloading the Service Pack 2 for Windows XP I can not do anything now at all. The only message that I get from my phone is No Device found. Anyone out there who have a possible answer to my question. Thank you in advance. All in all a very very very nice mobile phone!

Hello, I just received my SE Z600 few days ago, and it is wonderful. I owned the SE T310 before receiving the Z600, and I was pleased with it. It seems that the Z600 is a very advanced model in comparison to the T310. It carries many great features and options. For example, the camera option, it is really nice to have when around friends and family. the sharp style, and weight of this phone are also unique. All what I can say at this time, so far so good. I would rate this phone on a scale of 1 to 10 a "10," and this my personal opinion.

At first when I got this phone i thought it was nice and i liked it also bcuz it was light. It works when you make calls but taking pictures just sucks. It takes nasty pics and I can't even take so much pics without me erasing pics. I guess this phone is not too great after all. I can't wait for my contract to finish and get a different phone.

You guys don't know quality when you see it. You braggers just want to show off with your newest gadget f.phones that also make lousy pictures - even the new 2mp ones.
About a year ago this phone had about the best professional reviews on usability, connection, screenquality, durability, etc.
I still use it. I know, it's big and the camera sucks, but who cares: phoning and mailing and such work great.

sorry to say bt this fone sucks and sony E sucks.how could they have made somthing so stupid,im regreting badly,the camera sucks.and mine keeps on hooking and the message tone sucks.the only thing good bout is the ringtones and its not worth it

Yes the camera sux and yes the fone doesnt have a lot of space but if you want a good camera buy a frickin digital one cheapskate!
I think this phone is brilliant - ive had it for over a year and the only one id consider swapping it for is the z800 which is the updated version!
The phone works and it does everything id ever need...brilliant.

Z600 is the worst phone i've ever seen. My screen went flat bearly after a year of purchase.

Z600 is great, I have had no problem what so ever with the phone.A mobile phone can never come instead of ordinary camera, so if you want to take a good photo buy a camera, also if you need a data organiser, buy a palm.

just bought one of ebay, wanting to no if you can change text alert tone, the ones in there are crap sounds, can anyone tell me please, thanks
