have you checked your visibilty is set at show to all, have you allowed connections in my devices, make sure its on off in the powersave opion, i really hope this works otherwise i would tell you to take back to shop as faulty phone.

you can store name, mobile number,work nuumber, home number, fax number, email, web address, picture, ringtone, voice command, name & address, info, birthday all under the 1 persons name in phone book.

i bought this phone about a week than i realize that it has a problem with the bluetooth connection it send file in but not send out. I'm very dissapointment with that. Sony Ericsson phones is really good but only for Walkman series, other than that is a failed product..

im interested on this phone however, i would like to know if i can store several phone numbers/data on each entry. Im asking this coz as posted on this site, it says phonebook memory 1000 entries, wc is still a bit old school.
btw, my phone right now is a nokia n80 and i have to say i have been disappointed so im planning on getting a more basic but sturdy phone

phone is good. lacks autofocus thats why picture quality is not as good as W810. More volume than W810 but a little minor in quality. Battery is great if i charge it via USB cable but its really worst if i charge it via conventional charger. mp3 can be used as ring tones and even can be used for message alert. i dont know why many people are complaining about mp3 playback as ringtones. might be some problem with the firmware which requires an update or might be certain features disabled by the operator who has provided you the phone with connection. memory card is very expansive if someone planning to upgrade. hands free is good but not as good as are offered along with W series but its compatible so its very easy to upgrade (rather convert) your Z710 to W710 :). But still, it shud be having autofocus, thats the only thing which is degrading its quality. otherwise, best phone & features at best price...

just got dis fone it is the best fone eva had even betta den the walkman w810i .amazin.
and even has more music buttons than walkmans ie da buttons on the outside.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

if your having problems with the charging of phone why don't you buy another battery & desktop charger from ebay so you can just change them over when needed without having to use your phone to charge a battery

if the phone in close position, can i still play the radio?

both the z710i & w710i allows you to set your own ringtune & message alert tone to them

no you can not set the message alert 2 alert more than once like it can be repeated on samsung mobs. my husband has this phone z710i & i have the w710i, other than the colour & slight outside design difference, the w710i is a walkman phone with a fitness application added thats the only difference!!!

hi all. i just bought this phone 2 weeks ago. this is what i discovered.
- The media player is almost equivalent to Walkman.
- Two thumbs up for the speaker!
- The camera is also good, although it doesn't produce very good indoor pics (under minimum lighting).
- External display although monochromatic is very informative and it makes the phone looks more interesting :-)
- Fair-sized keypad. ideal for big thumbs.
- downsides: no flash, phone's kinda thick and bulky, u can't take pics if u close the phone
overall, i think this phone is superb. the price also isn't that expensive. in fact, i think for a phone like this, the price is cheap. i bought it for Rp 2.05m (indonesian rupiahs, equivalent to +/- US$ 230). if u r considering on buying this phone, i recommend u do.

I don't see any big difference between z710 & w710... just w710 has a SE Walkman logo...
