sms alert settings is only in sounds/message settings(the same chosen alert type for all profiles)

I had transfered mp3 to the phone but cannot use them as ringtone "no file found" displayed. Do I need to convert to other format before loading to the phone?

No, it doesn't have flash. If you can afford the w850 and you like it, it's the most complete phone among those you listed.

does anyone know? is it sms alert settings only in sounds/message settings(the same chosen alert type for all profiles) OR is it message alert type included in each Profile ( so you can create for each profile different message alert type and when switching profiles the message alert is automaticaly switch according to profile) or when you change profiles (for example from standard to outdoors) you have to extra change the message alert type?

you do not need to download ringtones, just transfer your music on2 phone & use these!!!!

yes what you say is right but you can not back up phone bits to memory card!
to set the ringing tune you go to settings, rt click to sounds & alerts, just below the ring volume is the ringtone opion, set your mp3 ringtune this way cause it works for me!

hello people, I wanna ask a kinda stupid question: is the metallic sand colour for ladies, or is it unisex, which one do you prefer? I don't like black, but I'm a guy, so won't the bright one look too feminine? Thanx :) [Haven't checked them myself yet, for there're mostly black phones, so I wonder if it's worth searching for the other one].

i just got the z710...and i can't use mp3 as a ringtone like everyone says it could.
i went to file manager and selected the mp3 file..right clicked 'more' and 'use as' but i can't click the use as ring tune selection...-_-
can someone help me?

As far as I know I can backup contacts to memory card beside copying them to sim card. and I can format the memory card. But I couldn't find any feature to backup phone memory to memory card. Do you have any idea.

Yes the external screen of the phone shows the caller's name.

after reading z710 user's opinion about this ph i cant wait to buy it.
just one question for z710 user's that the external screen of the ph, does it show the caller name etc or just the time and date??

W810 ....speaker (inbuilt) is Bad
