Yup, just what i thought. The 21:9 screen quality is excellent (other than mixed-bag Sony's implementation, should have use full screen gesture instead of the pill gesture, fingers will be more stretchable), and i believe this trend will be followed by others next year.
Anddd just what i thought as well, the camera is a bit of letdown in terms of photography, still not the top, will wait for more reviews definitely.

2. No one use split screen on tiny screen. You can multitask by double tapping mutitasking button or sliding on multitaking bar on android P.
3. Less typing space as screen is narrower
4. Bad for gaming because almost no games support 21:9 ratio
5. No pocket in the world can hold that absurd aspect ratio phone.
#No one should buy 21:9 ratio phone.

Your suggestion 24:9 ratio just for trolling.

2. I am alwayz on the move so tv is cumbersome.
And then 3rdly, in my country power supply is the most erratic i ve ever seen.

I really love the form factor of Xperia 1. But sadly, Sony devices aren't available in my country. Hopefully there'll be taller phones in the future :D

i receive my xperia 1 yesterday..what first impression are this phone tall lol but surprisingly comfortable to hold and stunning display. even better than note 9 and s9 ( my family using both)
mann really unexpected, no wonder sony say it be like mastermonitor, no oversaturated, gradient color soo easy to look.
demn testing watching movie on netflix is incredible result.
if someone need punchy color , maybe this phone not quite match
with this phone like i can feel sony back to right direction.
unfortunately this phone quite easy to sold out, in my country it not easy to get.
what sony need to do is if possible ask developer or creator content to provide 21:9 too..some games still not support that ratio so it feel bit weird lol. but its okay for me as my game has supported
