jacsigfrw, 15 Jun 2019i wait phone with 24:9 screen ratio, i love long phones21:9 is the maximum ratio and it is the standard/perfect ratio for movie, enhance split screen experience, more typing space and better view on role play gaming. Most important it is pocketable!
Your suggestion 24:9 ratio just for trolling.

2. I am alwayz on the move so tv is cumbersome.
And then 3rdly, in my country power supply is the most erratic i ve ever seen.

I really love the form factor of Xperia 1. But sadly, Sony devices aren't available in my country. Hopefully there'll be taller phones in the future :D

i receive my xperia 1 yesterday..what first impression are this phone tall lol but surprisingly comfortable to hold and stunning display. even better than note 9 and s9 ( my family using both)
mann really unexpected, no wonder sony say it be like mastermonitor, no oversaturated, gradient color soo easy to look.
demn testing watching movie on netflix is incredible result.
if someone need punchy color , maybe this phone not quite match
with this phone like i can feel sony back to right direction.
unfortunately this phone quite easy to sold out, in my country it not easy to get.
what sony need to do is if possible ask developer or creator content to provide 21:9 too..some games still not support that ratio so it feel bit weird lol. but its okay for me as my game has supported

But if you tested, compare it on real life usage with S10+ & resulting about the same, then thats good. Real life usage always the best.
P30 Pro still superior though.

Bought mine, a Hongkong version with google playstore in China, Got the new update as soon as it connected wifi and this improved 4K video recording further. Love the 21:9 wide aspect ratio with PUBG and also game enhancer mode.

Minimal bezels (barely there), no notch, no cut out and an absolutely stunning screen! A joy to watch my movies on, like being in the cinema except I am not...! Software is pretty much stock too!!
