Not sure if links are allowed in comments, but phone arena posted their 10 ii review, saying it "shows what a mid-ranger phone should be"

when i record my voice VIA voice recorder app its good but when i'm making video camera sound level is very very low. So its look like software problem not microphone.
Do you have the same problem?

Yeah it's definitely good news. I am not too bothered about having to buy the sim just wasn't sure what the score was if you didn't want to use it.

For anyone interested I have just had this reply from o2 about availability...
I have seen a date and though it doesn't seem to match up with that 10th June you've mentioned, if all goes to plan then we might surprise you. As you may have seen recently, some big corporations across the world are delaying products and announcements to give a bigger voice to those who need it right now, and coupled with ongoing covid-19 issues... Basically, nothing right now is ever going to be 100% airtight - but again if all goes to plan, you might be looking at the O2 website before any of the others next week ;-)

I maked all tests from technical helps app as usually i do when i get new [hone. Anything was ok but i cant pass one of them- speakerµphone- speaker emited sound but it looks like microphone doesnt hear that. Its strange because when i record voice or phone calls i dont have a any problem with microphone.
Could You check on your Xperia 10 II do You have the same issue (?0.
And anyone know if this phone have 1 or 2 microphones? If device have 2 microphones maybe in my case onlyu one is working properly? Or maybe its only bug in test app.

They seem to be really pushing them so fingers crossed we get some sort of deal like that

I was going to upgrade to the 5 when it came out, but the removal of the headphone jack stopped me. Then I heard talk of a possible new compact coming out, thinking the 5 ii may well be that phone but as I am looking to purchase outright I can't justify paying that sort of money for a phone. Glad to hear you like it otherwise, gives others the confidence to buy as those who haven't got one don't know what to expect

I don't trust that alza site plus they are more expensive. I have been looking at the Netherlands, Belgium, etc sites who all have the offer of free bluetooth headphones, so I am hoping the likes of o2 or carphone warehouse will have something similar. Looking at the info coming out it's a matter of days now before a release so I might aswell wait until the more well known companies come out with an offer

Kfav82, 03 Jun 2020That's a real shame it seems like they have gone backwards ... moreYeah you know how people felt when they started taking the headphone off phones? That's how I felt when Sony removed the shutter button from this phone. I don't even understand why they'd do it.
Sucks that they went backwards with a few things (and some software was removed, but if you want a more stock Android experience, you have to accept that)
But overall I am extremely happy with the phone. I can see it being my main for several years. Even if the 5 II is really good, it would just be out of my price range. I can't even imagine what it would take to make me want to pay 2X what I paid for this.

Mar, 03 Jun 2020What is the audio quality on Bluetooth headphones? What hea... moreI mean the quality of the phone is irrelevant when using BT headphones. Aside from connectivity of course (and if you try using BT headphones in a busy city, you know how bad this can be)
I use WF-1000XM3 and they are legit the best electronics I've bought in a long time. They connect fast, stay charged forever, sound amazing, and have excellent noise cancellation. I don't know how they could be better.
