So many people don't understand how 21:9 makes it much more compact and easy to hold. Its not as long you think, its the same height as an S21 only narrower. This helps with browsing as you can see more bottom and top content without scrolling. It also can be used as a pocket cinema specially since most media content is starting to come out in 21:9 aspect ratio which will be mainstream in future.

It has same 30W charging as 5 III and 1 III models, check their homepage for 10 III.

SmooZ, 18 Apr 2021If Samsung can do no bezel screen with stereo speakers, why... moreBecause Sony doesn't want to put a notch or hole or slap or whatever the Samsung kids call them these days on their devices since they're centered around media consumption and a notch would obstruct the view just enough to make the experience less special. This is also why Sony started using front firing stereo speakers again, though I'm not sure if the Xperia 10 III has that.

- I would prefer 1 brilliant camera than 3 average cameras. (think pixel 4a)
- Deal breaker for me is the phone is too long
- Everything else is great.

And this super tall shape is just ridiculous, who wants a phone looking like a giant TV remote control...

This has got to be one of the most ergonomic phone of the year. That narrow body (at 68mm) is such a rare form factor nowadays. (I still wish there was a compact version at 130-135 x 65-68 x 8.2 mm though)
And finally, Sony opted for a higher battery capacity and even managing to reduce the width of the 10iii compared to last years 10ii. (though at the expense of being .1mm thicker, but what the heck, I'd take that any day)
This will be my next phone, no doubt. I understand that I will be downgrading from sd845(poco f1) to an sd690 but I realized after owning a flagship soc, I didn't really use it that much, so I believe a midrange phone will be more than enough for me for the next 2 years at least. I just shifted my priority now to handling a more ergonomic device as well as a cleaner software experience (hopefully Sony delivers on that front as well).

I want to like this phone but when i compare it to other phones like Oneplus Nord and such it just doesnt feels worth it. My next phone wont have 60hz.
