The plastic back make it less appealing to me, mark 3 was a glass back. Might consider Mark 3 instead of Mark 4.

Is glass on the back or plastic? I see that the frame is plastic while it was metal/aluminium on 10 iii. Deal breaker for me if it's plastic :/

Japanese people buy Japanese phone. And iPhones. That's it. I've never seen as many Sony phones in people hands as in Japan. It's like a parallel universe where Sony phones kept on succeeding.

Difference is only in SoC and screen HRR. How much did A52 cost when he got out? It was more expensive then his succesor A52s right? Is someone asking him self how can this be? How can A52s be cheaper and better then his predecessor? Do your best and find out if you're interested because there are few valid reasons for that.
Next. Ask your self how come that A53 is more expensive then A52s while being worst in performance.
Everyone is mentioning last year's phone prices with this year and saying wth this wth that. Guys... Look around you. Everything cost more these days. Really everything. Did you forget about pandemic? What about global chip shortage? Still nothing rings the bell? You can't compare large scale phone brands like Samsung and Xiaomi with Sony and expect similar pricing. You just can't. And second of all... You can't compare this year's pricing with years before because everything changed.
P.S.: I absolutely agree that this Xperia 10 IV is a costly device but you guys are expecting something that can't be done. Not with smaller players like Sony.

The Sony UK website clearly states USB 2.0 and don't mention video out capability (as opposed to the specs for the 10 III): https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/smartphones/xperia-10m4/specifications

Disappointed with the sd695 soc & also being not stereo(by a little sincw it have 3.5mm jack).
Otherwise everything else is fine.
They couldve opted for sd690 or 750/65/etc instead.

If connected to a Huion Kamvas or Wacom one you can even have stylus input.
if I'm not mistaken this is the cheapest usb c 3.1 current year phone

Also the jump from 690 to 695 is as minimal as can be. Couldn't they at least put a 700 series chip? Now the 4K video will be lost
