Would've definitely considered this device if it had 90+ Hz, bit i guess that's hard to do with a budget 10-bit OLED panel

The Sony UK website says that the 10 iv supports only USB 2.0, not 3.1 ; if true this means no more DP alt mode support like on the 10 iii.

By the way, I watched the entire announcement event today. Not a mention of the number of years of Android updates. My guess it'll be only two years. That's embarrassing as even Samsung has committed to four years of updates.

5.2 has a really great feature for multicasting/listening and, directional signal strength management, and spatial positioning calculation. So I really hope that this new phone can offer 5.2 not cut-down to 5.1

Sony is giving too much of a crap about battery. The battery life of the Sony 10 III was already class leading, and now they just unnecessarily improved it, instead of improving the camera specs or making the display 90Hz.

You're talking about the 1 mark IV which also released today that is the flagship and has the 120hz 4k display.

Having these bezels in 2022 seems a bit odd to me... I mean the phone doesn't have that big display, yet it's longer and tad wider than I'd like. I guess at least it has jack... So maybe it's not too bad.

I wouldn't say that this one is priced well either, but given that in my country the Xperia 10 III is about the same price as the A33, I would expect this to replace that with similar price and then imo it absolutely worths more than the A33.
