Looking good. Thank god they got rid of the assistant button. As for the camera I prefer OIS over 4k, so in my book this camera is better. Hopefully they fixed the notoriously slow camera interface (every other camera app works faster than stock camera app). I also hope it'll have better availability as it's predecessor couldn't be found in physical shops only online.

Anonymous, 11 May 2022FHD+I meant 4k recording, which it doesn't have, because the 695 doesn't support it, but it was mistakenly written under the camera specs.

Alpha8900, 11 May 2022500 dollars for this phone????? I'll pass. This phone ... moreIt's water resistant, has an oled screen that's 1080p, micro sd slot, headphone jack and a functional triple camera setup with ultrawide and telephoto. You can get a Redmi 10C for the price you suggested for this. I agree that 500 eur is a bit much, but 200 eur? Come on, think again.

On paper, this is literally the perfect midrange smartphone you could ever ask for. It has lot of features that other competitors don't offer like full IP65/68, audio jack, microSD slot. Sony definitely made their phone while keeping long-term uses in mind.

Really interested but the price is way too much for a mid-end smartphone..!!

I like how the sizes are for the new Sonys, brilliant.
Both are quite narrow so they make great one-hand handling, something that iPhones lack big time.

PS: sub 8mm thickness could be envisaged for future iterations

500 dollars for this phone????? I'll pass. This phone should not be more than 200 dollars.

Does Sony Xperia 10 series has features like call recording and dual apps (preferably can clone most apps and not only messaging apps)?

Would've definitely considered this device if it had 90+ Hz, bit i guess that's hard to do with a budget 10-bit OLED panel

The Sony UK website says that the 10 iv supports only USB 2.0, not 3.1 ; if true this means no more DP alt mode support like on the 10 iii.

By the way, I watched the entire announcement event today. Not a mention of the number of years of Android updates. My guess it'll be only two years. That's embarrassing as even Samsung has committed to four years of updates.

Same old phone, all they did was add a bigger battery and there you go.

The batter... moreCorners have to be cut to bring the price down, this phone is already crippled by only having a 128Gb internal storage. That's terrible even for a midrange phone in 2022 and at this price.
